Bid Whist was big game in my family back in the 1970s and '80s! We played it almost every night and on many weekends! Lots of fun and a nice little challenge.

Why the Bicycle Cards company don't have card games software/programs that would include Bid Whist and even Straight Whist for people to practice on how to play before they play with real people? And Bid Whist should be programmed in a system to give people the options to play progressive & non-progressive.

The highest bidder wins the kitty, and then he/she calls what suit is trump...or he/she calls 'no trump'.

I think the bids of other players and also the game score should be displayed while the b!kidder is making his bid. It helps him in making his !bid and how much of a risk he will take when making his bid.
