- Looking for Cozumel excursions? This is our review of the Private Oasis at Passion Island offered by Carnival Cruise Lines. We did this excursion while on our cruise on the Carnival Vista in October, 2019.

No, wouldn’t do that. I much rather go to paradise beach which is only 10 or so minutes from the port and its beautiful. And yes why do you need a bedroom? Seems like a big waste of money to me. Paradise beach club is the bomb!!!!!

I loved Passion Island as well. Probably the prettiest sand and ocean I’ve seen thus far.
I had seen this by Parodeejay too. I could tell they thought it ok. I agree with the comments that it seems a waste of time and money. I'd never do.
Looks amazing. Private beach would be amazing. Food looked amazing. Can you say amazing.

Just did this exact excursion on Oct. 24, loved it. Couldn’t of had a better time and the food was great. The drink guy works his butt off. Well worth the money in my opinion.
Do they provide towels or do you bring your own to the beach? We're going next week, trying not to pack towels if we don't need them.

What a great idea for an excursion $60 per person or so is not bad at all! Looks like a great beach day!
If you’re only actually there 3 hours you have so much travel time, doesn’t seem worth it. I don’t understand what the bedrooms would be for… Could get free food on the ship or that money could’ve paid for a good meal on the ship. By the time you eat, you really didn’t have much time for your little personal space on the beach. Only private if it was for you and Jenny. Other than the beach atmosphere, seems kind of weird.
I could see taking a group / large family to that excursion. Beautiful island, beautiful house, great food and drink. The only thing I saw that would be an issue for myself is the really low chairs at the beach. Older people could not use those. Thanks for sharing your wonderful day!

This was our 1st excursion in mexico on the Carnival Triumph. Along with this excursion was the Speed boat ride... Loved it!
I dipped my whole body in the Caribbean ocean on that island. Awesome place.

Wow Tony, the Carnival Fantasy looks like it is in rough shape! The hull paint looks like it has got green algae growing on it and visible rust from the angle you shot from the excursion boat. It looks like dry dock is in order or it needs to be sold off. The island looks good but 3 hours is not a whole lot of time on the island. If it was 5 hours on the island well then I could see it might justify the price. The house is a nice touch. Does the bedroom come with a do not disturb sign for the door? ;-)
Was at Passion Island back in 05, was like 65 back then for the normal island. Back then though it was a bus ride though the jungle then a small pontoon boat thing across the bay ( like 200 yards or whatever) The trip was much shorter maybe 40 mins max each way. It was an awesome beach, great food and drinks, with the water could walk out like 50 yards and still be waist level. I had been to Cozumel 2 times since then I didnt see it offered, figured it got too commercial and maybe wasnt available to cruises, but guess not as you only went couple years ago.
Love the idea. The only way I'd consider doing it is if there was more time. Three hours hardly seems worth it.

We were on the Fantasy ..too bad we didn't see you guys...but with the Vista , Horizon and Fantasy all in port.... there was a huggggge crowd in Cozumel.

We did that excursion in September and loved it. The only bad thing was we had a ton of mosquitoes.
So much noise everywhere. I'd be looking for some peace and quiet with listening to the waves and the shore birds as respite from the noisy atmosphere on the ship. Not sure what you would want beds for. I'd stay on the ship, have a nap in my cabin and get a nice meal at the buffet all for no extra money.
So wish I had not decided to skip this excursion. I had been to Passion Island before. Nothing like this though. Looks awesome.

So pretty! There’s not enough time to enjoy all of that! 3 hours only??? So relaxing but if you dont travel with 12 people it’s pricey.

I don't know why you would want to pay so much for 3hrs!! Paying for private nookie time when you have your cabin? I do like the location and wonder if it can be booked for longer periods without being on a cruise? I am afraid after paying that much, no passion left for Passion Island!

I thought about the beach day at passion island but we booked the Mayan ball game and food. This oasis sounds freaking amazing! We're on the Vista in Feb for our FIRST cruise so I'm excited to watch your series on her! Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. We have no clue what to do in Jamaica. I am over the limit to do the river tubing. Any suggestions?

You can take more but it’s an up charge of I think $50 or $100 per person, you can ask at guest services
