badly my parents are also so strict, imagine that i was so bright and wanted to study abroad, they told me that if you were a boy, we could've let you go, i had so much dreams but now, the only thing i need is to find a job, they made me so depressed, they made so much things especially my dad, my biggest dreams was to go eat out, he cut all the social life from me, i was feeling lifeless, eventhough i was alive, i had so much mental health from him. I draw a path for myself to become successful and he shut all the doors infront of me.

May Allah make it easy for you Ameen sister. Coming from a girl who also has strict parents, my parents were never strict regarding education matters. Which I’m grateful for, but that had its own consequences too. Since I never had contact with boys or any contact with the society . College was crazy for me because I had social anxiety and didn’t know how to move with the society smh. But what I’d say the best for you, is to find even a remote job or something that will give you an income, and to save up and do something for yourself. Stay strong girl💗

Same. Mine were always strict. I know they love me but they don't realise how many dreams they've killed and much they've killed me inside. They don't realise how unhappy I am. They got me married and everything I ever dreamt of just vanished. I'm stuck and there's no way out. I always wanted to go far away from these societal norms. Go far away from these men but I ended up just here and now I have to be one the women I always dreamt of never being.

My parents are really strict… the worst is about the mariage. I have to say yes about their wishes to marry inside the family, my family will never accept someone out of our small town in pakistan.. It makes me so depressed and sick, i haven’t have the opportunity to meet someone that i love because i always listen to my parents about never talk to a boy, now i regret it.. i will never be happy in my life. I can’t imagine myself with my cousin, it makes me terribly sad. Where i live in France, it’s very difficult to find a decent pakistani men. My life is a whole mess, i’m 23 now, I’m approching the 25 years old, every year i’m scared that my parent book plane ticket to go to Pakistan in the summer for my wedding. I can’t understand how can they do this, i’ve already said no multiple time, but the family honor is more important in their eyes. I wish i was never born in a pakistani family.

So much restrictions .

Omg.. my parents are so strict that they dont let my brother go abroad even though he is a boy (he worked his ass of and studies really well and can be independent but they dont let him go out even though he is an f adult) ! I realised that its not about gender they just want us to be in control with them and be a slave to them for our entire lives! I studied IB even though they dont even know what it is and omg it was so hard (my dream was to go abroad and study at a university and i realised that its not gonna be possible..) My parents never let me go out since i was a child and expect me to act normal and talk to everyone like... Girl i was in the house my whole life and can only go out with my parents.. and i have communication issues (and also known for being a silent girl) and i daydream a lot and live in my own delusional world.. without my imagination and gadgets i wouldnt have known that i even had strict parents 😭 i was like "i cant live on my own". But i can live on my own! Its just bullshit that they are emotionally immature and have no boundaries for their f children like taking the lock on your door and such! I dont even know what to do except focus on my my physical and mental being... Because i know for sure they will marry me of to someone else after all that hardwork i have done.. they dont even care if i have money or a career (cause my parents are "rich"). I am just so sick and tired of my parents and i decided to be emotionally detach from them.. my mom has an big expectation on my physical appearance (yk the steriotypical indian beauty) and she forced me f shed of my skin my entire childhood (got from black skin to golden or brown skin tonish.. it was hell) i just hate being in this household i just hate it to the guts..i am sick of it man... I realised that i cant do anything now cause i will not have career or anything.. i hope everyging goes well..

Nah this is to real i have so many stories (btw im in 9th grade):
    1) So my school has this rule that if we have classes in the afternoon we have to stay during lunch. But if we want to leave school during lunch to go somewhere and then get back we needed to have our parents permission. And theres this book where theres everyones name and they always check if youre able to leave or not. So since i have strict parents i couldnt leave. But one day, my friends were planning to go get lunch at our nearby mall (its like 5 min from school). So they asked if incould come but i said i couldnt. But then i still tried to leave and my friends helped me. So while the woman was not watchinv i literraly just went outside. But let me remind you that that mall was the only mall in my city. So we were all so happy that i was able to do it and we went to the mall. While some of my friends went to go get the food, i decided to text my brother idk why. And thats when everything got fucked up cuz my brother texted me saying he went to get lunch with our dad ON THE MALL. THE SAME MALL. And we kinda had passed next to them a couple of times. So then we all left after i told my friends what happened. My dad and my brother never caught me but i was so scared...
    2) Similar storie has 1 but we went to go buy food at the cafe next to our school. So i got out the same way, got the food and went back to school. No one found out.
    3) So i cant have tiktok and instagram so i always watch it on google. I did get grounded once cuz my mom found out i downloaded it so now i see it on google/yt.
    4) I would hide my phone at night and watch yt until 1 am. My parents found out and grounded me. I still do it sometimes tho like 1 a month.
    5) So me and my friends always call each other like crazy has a joke. So once my friend used my email and was calling crazy my other bestfriend crazy and used the middle finger emoji. So my bestfriend responded "put that in your ass😂". But it was on my school email and my parents have that email so they saw it. That time i actually told them the truth. They did get mad but i wasnt grounded cuz it was my friend who texted that not me.
    6) Hefore my parents would choose my clothes. So sometimes i wanted to wear tops but my mom would say it was too cold (it was like 30 degres celcius). So i would put my crop top on and then put my jacket on. Never got caught. They do let me use crop tops, skirts, shorts and everything thats not inapropriate now and i can choose what i wear but i would do that.
    7) My mom doesnt really let me text/facetime at night but i do it anyways. Never got caught.
    8) I steal my moms makeup and use it.
Thats it but im only a freshman so im def gonna do more shit lol

Im 30 and a mum myself. My daughter is 10 now. I try my best to respect her choices and i do give her "freedom" but within the limits!
Im not too sure but the definition of freedom is kind of messed up in western society. So being a mum myself and having seen the world myself to some extent this video has made me very very upset. You do NOT have to experience everything on your own skin just cause thats what society does!!! And YES you should sometimes trust your parents who are worried about you and want to protect you and keep you safe from harm. Harm that you often arent even aware of on the short run.

She mentioned wearing makeup and her mom seeing her with it on when she was talking about her drinking story, so I assume her parents allowed her to put on makeup

I feel that I don't have parents like that but sometimes there just being parents you know I want to say this I'm sorry if you have parents like that but if you want to have some freedom I think its better try to talk with your parents first and tell them how you feel instead sneaking out and stuff because it's also not good either sometimes I can see if they actually hurt you but you know I used to live in Elmhurst I used to like it over there but I can't stand being over there anymore and they had a lot strict parents over there and it seems like every single parent over there and what's bother's me is some people grew up with strict parents and they agree with them idk but have a great day oh yeah

Just because she wears makeup doesn’t mean she doesn’t have strict parents. Also this is when she had already distanced herself from her family, that’s why she’s wearing makeup. Do you even know what strict parents are? Don’t comment stuff like this if you don’t understand her backstory. You never know what they went through. Also she is older now and an adult so she’s allowed to make her own decisions.

If you can’t commit with designer i pray you never stumble into the habit of niche fragrances. Parfums De Marly, Fragrance Du Bois, MFK, Royal Crown etc. Those are some amazing out of this world scent houses but your bank account will cry.

May Allah guide u for the pain and trickery u have done with ur parent .
You will understand once u become a mother i prayer u better urself before that if not May Allah give u a child that does exactly what u have done so u have a taste of ur own medicine.
