  • So, Big kit, big instruction sheet, lots of video. Tried to cut it down as much as I could.
    At the beginning of the Cold War, Russia had no SPAAG's in service, and they wanted to be competitive with the US and Britain, which both had experienced ground strike forces. So they put up a design for a good SPAAG they could mass produce, unfortunately, they didn't find it with this vehicle, even though it was well armed, it had no radar and could not fire on the move. Despite these deficiencies, it was used for about 15 years by the Soviet forces, and continues to be used by many countries to this day. They built this SPAAG on a shortened T-54 chassis, and used the S-68 autocannon.
    The model kit is awesome, nice extras, nice details, if they would include metal barrels, I would say it was perfect, but they are available from Aber.
