36:54 he didn't. He took over everything again in 2023 because he wanted to sell the WWE. He sold the WWE to TKO and in October 2023 TKO boss Ari Emanuel ordered Vince McMahon to step away from creative control. I laughed when I heard that because Vince McMahon sold the WWE to TKO with the deal that he would stay as the head of the WWE and that backfired big time. And in January Vince McMahon stepped away from his position and in January 2024 he retiered altogether and i don't think that there will be a coming back this time.
Now his Son in Law Triple H is in creative control.
you should watch iron claw movie. story about the best wrestling family the von erichs
29:17 The irony of it all is that Sable, the woman that sued Vince for sexual harassment, is now the wife of Brock Lesnar, who is "allegedly" involved in the current sexual shenanigans.
Who knew wrestling storylines could get this juicy?
Cyndi Lauper sang "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" a HUUUUUUUUGGGEEE hit in the US
She had obviously not been into Vince's office.
@@daveborder7751Or maybe she had been and was in to it. Different people different kinks
Bunny, whose ur favorite female wrestler?
Why is Linda still married to this man after everything he’s done on TV and off air? I will never know 😂😂😂
Mmm I don’t think you can blame Vince or the wwe for ppl abusing drugs. They would get them rehab to get off drugs. But all these wrestlers knew the only way to get to the top was to be big and work and they choose to do those drugs. But idk about blaming the company wwe.
I remember watching Smackdown in 1999 at the age of 12 years old 28:26
25:41 This documentary is not that good, better one is "Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows" It's on youtube
Can’t wait for the documentary on Vince McMahon since he owns the rights to his name for that purpose
@Bunnymon Vince Mcmahon was also lucky to have "Headwriter" Vince Russo along with Stone Cold, The Rock and everyone else.
He was East Coast raised and this is where all the innovators come from and he took his father's company which was wwwf and then he turned it into buy all the wrestlers up which his Dad did not like
Then WWF and then WWE because of the World Wildlife Foundation get the F out was the slogan when they changed the name
Once again Bunny you are absolutely RIGHT 29:48
Since the WrestleMania1, WWE has always attempted to involve celebrities of any kind for their biggest show of the year. Cindy Lauper(singer), Muhammid Ali, Mike Tyson, Rage Against The Machine, Salt N Peppa, Pamela Anderson, Snooki, & so many others throughout the next following WrestleManias to follow.
They even tried to get MJ but he was on WCW.
Think you could react to "Former WWE Wrestler Reveals WWE Secrets", by Maven Huffman?
i will
Vice does a better job of the Montreal Screwjob on their episode of Dark Side Of The Ring.
its a great series, that exposes things that wee covered up for way too long...
This is complete BS. Vince was given the company by his dad for cheap and got to use the profits of the company (the richest territory) to pay his dad back. VInce was not some upstart businessman just a cutthroat evil person. Real wrestling fans know the non WWE created BS of history.
He did not pay back most of these people he bought out and went and stole most of big stars - he broke all the rules. This may be the worst video ever seen. These people know nothing of wrestling history.
Vince wasn’t given anything he worked for everything you just want to hate and say something negative about him cause of the allegations
This isn't even the end of it. He tried to come back after the Wall Street "scandal" died down and sold WWE..THEN it got even worse for Vince after a woman came out with a long statement and Vince stepped down a second time
This video is old enough to skip the part that he came back and now has more terrible lawsuits against him and he is been banned from WWE.
It's easy to sit back relax and hate on a man who created such a big universe.
Yeah, what Chris Benoit did definitely had a lot to do with Vince. He had CTE (severe brain damage) from WAY too many head bumps, even before going to WWE, and the amount of drugs he took that were prescribed to him really messed with his brain even more. It did not help that he had to keep working instead of taking time off while all of his friends were dying, Eddie’s death was when Chris’ body was no longer his.
Yeah well AEW hasn't exactly done too well for themselves as their manager isn't much better than Vince.
May God have mercy on your soul Vincent McMahon. Mr. X
I feel bad for somewhat liking him in the past hes a tool.
Yes that was Ali
I'm always here for Bunny reacting to Catholic Wrestling.
Catholic?
@@insertgenericusernamehere2402 Running joke on the channel.
@@TheNeonParadox oh my bad 🤣
lol
AMEN
Love him or hate him but If it wasn’t for Vince McMahon wrestling wouldn’t be as big as it is today
This is, unfortunately, a completely fictional take that largely exists because of WWE propaganda for decades now PRETENDING that is the case. This documentary alone makes a fairly strong case for the idea that Vince was just an average business man who lucked and/or lied his way through nearly every situation.
Vince can in no way prove his presence helped the business anymore than I could prove that everyone reading this comment avoided car crashes today because the extra 30 seconds you all wasted reading this comment meant you were delayed in some way from being at a specific intersection. None of us have the ability to prove the opposite because we don't have a time machine to go back and test whether the business would have been even bigger without him..... and you all would have no way of going back and continuing your day without wasting time on my comment to find out if you would have eventually been in an accident. So, you are welcome, I saved you by wasting your time and you cant prove the alternative :P
TL;dr - You can't claim a definitive when there is no ability to test the alternatives.
Well said my friend. I believe Japan/The UK would be as big as they are and the US would still be a bunch of territory based promotions but we have no actual way of knowing@@TheGreatKingChiba
@@TheGreatKingChibaexcept he pretty much inherated his fathers company and the only thing he truly deserves credit for is Wrestlemania which pretty much made WWE a global success.
@@runrafarunthebestintheworld Does he do though? He needed Antonio Inoki who founded NJPW in 1972 for a large sum of money to even do Wrestlemania 1. Also WWE is not a global success. Asia, Europe and South America don't mess with WWE. It's even less than 10 countries. It's why in over 40 years the only big PPV they've done is Summerslam 1993 at Wembley Stadium which was the biggest UK wrestling show till All In 2023
Wrestling would have done better. Vince McMahon didn’t make wrestling better than what it was. He took wrestling and turned into sports entertainment
Hey Bunny I am so glad I found your channel you make some really cool content. I myself am from Europe and back in the day all the access we had was some dvds even until the ruthless agression era... The way I found out about wrestling before that was through some videos on youtube just like you here are the videos that helped me the most
The years in review from 1990 until 2009 by Wrestle with andy channel and WWE's golden age part 1,2 and 3 for 1982-1990 (I know these are long videos but you can break them down) from Cultaholic wrestling after this you will have a very good idea about history of wrestling...
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoy the content and that it brings back some nostalgic wrestling memories for you.
I love seeing how much you're into this stuff. If you ever have any questions, please let me know. Pro wrestling is everything
BTW. Sable, who sued WWE in 99. She's Brocl Lesnar's wife.
This missed the facts that he fired Dawn Marie, for being pregnant while being active on tv. One of his rules, around that time. Was that no women on the roster could get pregnant, while active.
Also missed the fact that he knew about former wrestler, Ashley Massaro was pretty much trafficked and r***d, while at a Military Base in a Kuwait tour. All while telling her to keep it shut, cause it would ruin their relationship with the US Military. She sadly committed suicide. 😢
The flight attendant on the Plane Ride From Hell, who was sexually assualted by Ric Flair. All while WWE(Vince McMahon) paid her in hush money.
These are all old accusations and real stories.
Sorry, I wrote so much. Just glad you finally watched this to understand the Vince McMahon problem.
He wrestled his final match at Wrestlemania 2 years ago and pushed Austin Theory to championships just before he left. Creating one more superstar and heel storyline👏
They were talking about late great champion Iron Sheik and i wonder if Bunny is ready for him in the future😂😂 "Sheiky baby" was CRAZYY on Howard Stern Show in 00s
Love how much he actually hated Hulk Hogan, and never hid that. He was a legend. RIP Old Sheik.
@@thenxn619I talked with Iron Sheik week before he died and i told him that he should get his rematch at WM40
he and beetlejuice were funny af
at first i didnt want to watch the reaction ... but after all im happy i watched.
I'm glad you gave it a chance and enjoyed it!
PLEAAASE watch the SCREWED documentary. It is so good 🙏🙏🙏

Same to you
I love these backstory videos
I’m learning stuff that I didn’t even know about and I been watching WWE since a kid😂
BunBun thanks for the video I appreciate you so so so close to 400k it’s teasing us😂❤
Please people, google these three things if you don't immediately know what its about
"Antonio Inoki Vince McMahon loan"
"Hulk Hogan NJPW champion"
"The War of the Worlds 1976 Muhammad Ali"
You should react to the Vince mcmahon iceberg by Age of wrestling it's a very detailed video.
This video is a bit outdated. Vince eventually sneaked his way back into the company despite many people within WWE trying to stop it. He then sold the company to a friend of his and then he recently stepped down a final time after the latest allegation against him.
how did they recover?
Stone Cold & The Rock.
Vince McMahon was the reason why WWE is successful he is legitimately the reason why wrestlemania exists he kinda invented the business after his dad he made it more global.
He didn’t invent the business. He invented sports entertainment which is not professional wrestling. Only WWE marks say stuff like that. Professional wrestling existed in a major way before Vince came along. They existed as territories, and other major promotions like NWA, AWA, WCW, Crockett Promotions etc.
You keep defending Vince. I'll just screenshot this comment so that you never live down being on the wrong side of history.
@@TheNeonParadox lol defending Vince who said I’m defending him I’m just speaking facts 😂
@@JLWprime10 Sure. 🤣🤣
For as much as we talk and have documented all those wrestlers who have used steroids there a plenty to mention who have not used steroids and still been successful. I do believe it comes down to the choice of the individual and not all blame can be laid at the feet of Vince McMahon. WWE have always contributed or even paid for the healthcare of performers especially when the injuries have occurred in a WWE ring. Yes Vince can be blamed in part for laying on pressure but WWE wrestlers are adults and know right from wrong and they made the choice to go down the route of steroid's and prescription drugs.
So true! It's like a backstage drama playing out in real life with all these different opinions and choices.
Yo Bunny watch the 6 man hell in a cell match!!! Oh wait. You're not ready for that level of brutality. At least not yet.
She should honestly watch a Deathmatch 1st, to build up her tolerance to what WWE has. 😅
But on a serious note. I love that 6-Man Hell In A Cell match at Armageddon 2000. I have that saved up, on VHS from when I used to record ppvs and raws, around the ages of 11-14.
As a fan of wrestling for over 40 years, growing up in the Dallas WCCW territory, Vince was always pure evil. He was directly and indirectly responsible for over 100 deaths, and bribed people to avoid charges
hes described as a bully, tyrant, egomaniac, and obsessed with beating competition...and used to get furious backstage over the smallest things..
@@jackstraw4222 he killed Verne Gagne's AWA by going around to various TV stations with briefcases of cash bribing the station managers to put his show on in the place of Verne's, poached all of his talent, and ran him out of business

Hey Bunny! I think I have two awesome suggestions that you should react to: “Top 10 Wrestlers Whose Promos GOT WAY TOO REAL” by Wrestling Flashback
“10 Wrestlers Who Got Legitimately Pissed In An Interview” by Wrestling Flashback
I think that these two videos would be pretty fun yet educational for you to watch to get to know some of the best talkers and also some of the more infamous interviews for professional wrestling.
sounds solid! i will add them to my watch list
@@Bunnymon Well, one of the people in the interview video actually passed away since I have suggested the video to you. Not gonna spoil who it is, though. But I’m glad that these videos interest you and that I can be of some help! 😊
I am writing this to help out, Sara and this video and this channel with the algorithm🥰
WOW this video was the first I ever heard of Vince admitting to only offering to send former talent to rehab for PR.
It cut into his profits-Vince doesn't care about anybody, he just doesn't want them to od & have to deal with the backlash without being able to smugly say look what we did for them.
@bunnymon, please react Vince McMahon vs Donald Trump: Battle of the Billionaires - 15 Years Later 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Look. No one knows temptation until they are tempted. 99% off us have never been close to tempted the way Vince has. So to say he is a bad man for doing what he did would be a foolish statement. Honestly he probably did better than most men. Like, most every man. He will go down in history as being and given great entertainment while most of us will just die and be forgotten.
Nice now react to decade of dominance of the sheild or cm punk vs mjf fued documentary by dromick wrestling channel

sara I hope you are having a good day or night 🥺
Let’s get it 🐰
Rather you love him or hate him Vincent K. McMahon is the reason why I love watching wrestling on tv every week back in the day when I was a kid on Monday Thursday night all week long but with Mr.McMahon the wrestling world would not be what it is today like for real for real no McMahon means no wrestling and no wrestling means no WrestleMania either from 1984 to right now
I still think WWE would've still survived without Vince. The Big name wrestlers are enough to keep wrestling organization running.
