Ni ni dear usase ni banega, cornstarch is made of endosperm of corns but makke Ka Atta is made with whole grain using Husk too, this recipe needs cornstarch
Dear, this is an excellent recipe very well explained. This sweet is one of my favorite only if it is chewy. I once tried it and it was an utter failure. Now I am diabetic so I am wondering if I can make it with sugar free Erythritol or Allulose. If I can I will be the happiest person. I Will appreciate if you reply. Thanks Susan
Yes dear you can, you can skip the sugar step adding into water, just cook flour with water (as per mentioned proportion), add any sugar free in the very last step after adding colour only , remember chewiness comes from How long you have cooked your halwa
