It’s unbelievably heartbreaking that despite being safe, people weren’t allowed to return & get their shit💔no political complication should prevent that right
Joooosh please come check out the abandoned outdoor water park in Bloomington Indiana. It's right off of lake Monroe and I think you could appreciate the vibe. If you need pics before you go I could supply. Just lmk and I can give you a way to contact me. Much love from Indiana ❤ you're one of my favorite RUclipsrs and people in the world!
Also if you would just like some pictures of the place just to post on your Instagram or something I would love to give you what I have. This spot is one of my favorites and I would love to see it on a channel/page such as yours. Much love ❤
Love all your abandoned videos and so happy for you in your expanding interests. I am looking forward to what's coming with your travels. If you get to travel to RNK's area, is there the possibility of a meet up? Besides Steve, will John and Cody be joining you for any event?
Hi josh, from north of Italy! I was 19 when l’Aquila was “shake” by the earthquake and i still remember that days… after 2009 every new building, must Be respect a lot of new antisysmic normatives especially in high risks zone! … and yes, if it’s possible, we try to rebuild to conserve memories and history!
Just want to say as someone who has watched you since the beginning, youre love and excitement for every exploring video has never changed! You can tell you truly love what youre doing. 😊 ❤
I think that every aspect of life/Health maintenance, would cross your mind, among the midst of potential Death/Fatality. As I sit here, pondering the aforementioned, I'm enjoying a Packet of Crisps. No, they are not good for you, and I know, could, potentially, limit my life span, but when you live with, additional, life limiting conditions, why not?
Honestly at 47:15 the room reminds me so much of Uncharted 4 when Nathan and Sam were in an abandoned house to get some key and I find that really cool. Omg i just continued watching and u mentioned it I AM SO HAPPY that you also realized it because I love Uncharted.
I am soo glad you all went there and filmed that grown-over cathedral inside the hospital. I have never seen a more beautiful reclaimed location in my life =) Thanks for doing what you do and sharing it with the world!!!
Good explore Josh and Exploring Crew! That looks like the long sheet of paper they lay down before the body to catch anything small! Actually, more like a cheese cloth! 😊 Thank you for taking us exploring!
LOVED this one. That church for sure would be somewhere I’d get married, grass, broken everything & all. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Thanks much Josh!! Much support from Nashville Tn!! 🩶🤘🏻
Magnificent video Josh, such a sad situation that happened. You did an amazing job telling the story. Your cinema photography and drone footage are remarkable, keep up the great work and Rise Above 🤘🏼❤️
Ive been watching for years, Josh and have watched you and your crew develop into incredible filmakers and journalists. I forsee you playing a very, very important role in the future of independant journalism in the U.S. as well as the World. Hold tight to your integrity and your values and you'll keep rising. Congrats on all your success.
Josh.... This video was just AMAZING...!!!! HOW SAD BUT HOW BEAUTIFUL your footage is.... Telling and showing us the reality of what these people went through and lost. Thank you for doing what you do. You bring what these beautiful countries and people go through after devastation. They all come together, not like the USA. Sad, really when you think about what your country will do for its people. Italy takes care of it people. Unlike the USA ...
Awesome work Josh and team your videos are amazing the earthquake is so terrifying poor people and village and how all the village is still around totally interesting hope they get the community back together thanks from Australia 🙏❤
that was so fun to watch -- i love long videos like this!! i lowkey enjoy these so much more than the ghost videos,,, so glad you're getting back into these videos, Josh! it was so cool seeing everything that could be gone in a few years... can't imagine being in a surgery whilst an earthquake ,,, that must have been terrifying also that loud bang from the wind scared the shhh out of me lol
Oh my goodness Josh, that church! I mean, the whole video was amazing but that church in particular! It's both so sad and strangely beautiful all at once. Thank you for bringing this to us all! 🙌
Oh my gosh.... Such a beautiful place to explore, I feel so bad for the residents here who were affected. Sending love and light to those who were affected. Great video josh! Inspiring me to go exploring myself ❤
I hope you guys enjoyed your stay it looks like fun where you're at beautiful countryside and thank you for sharing the content I really enjoy every one of your videos
Thank you Josh for sharing this video the massive destruction is unbelievable, my heart goes out to all who lost everything 😢 take care and stay safe ❤️ 🙏 👍
You said something about wanting a camera man and I would like to officially apply for this position. I absolutely love abandoned places and I think I would be a great addition to the team 😅. All jokes aside love your content brother. Cause not only do you show us these amazing places but you relay the stories and history of the places in a very refreshing way. Much love from Indiana ❤. Ohh also I'd like to suggest a video idea for when you're back in America. There is an abandoned outdoor water park in Bloomington Indiana off of Monroe lake. It has a pretty sick vibe I think you would appreciate.
"From day one, your passion and enthusiasm for each exploration video have been truly infectious! It’s clear you absolutely love what you do. Keep up the amazing work!"
Man If I ever got an actual camera, Id love to just be that camera guy/gal i guess that captures everything you see, your reaction and everything. What you guys do is sick.
It is first class Coverage from you Josh. Your content never disappoints. I Have always had an interest in the Paranormal, Ghost hunting, etc. Have witnessed things, within my own family Home, which could never be explained. People try to say that you're high on drugs/alcohol Whilst witnessing such amazing phenomenon. My anger level increases, but don't want it to take over my enjoyment of discovering the latter.
Amazing video as always! You guys should pack gloves and a trash bag with you so you have them if you want to touch things on your explore. Who's telling what could be in or on those viles, bottles, etc. Also you mentioned the glass blocks and I was expecting you would find a way to incorporate them into your travel bus. Thanks for busting your ass to bring us these videos!
Nice explore Josh. It does suck this happened to those people. Ya if buildings are built like how Japan builds theirs to withstand earthquakes you know there's gonna be problems. The boom at 29:09 or so I bet that was thunder and just echoed crazily in the building. You did mention thunder prior to this and before it the downpour. I doubt it was the building collapsing.
Thanks Josh for this this happened in Central Italy in the region of Abruzzo on the 6th April 2009 at 3.30am local time The quake was upto 5.9 on the Richter scale. About 60miles north east of the capital Rome. 😮💩💔 13th Century buildings' were destroyed. RIP to over 300 people killed here!
Nature is unpredictable. I can understand blaming the scientists, but they were trying to predict the unpredictable. I remember at the time thinking, nobody's going to want to want that job in future. When I was in Taiwan there was an earthquake and they were like a really big earthquake is predicted, but it could be today, tomorrow or in a decade or two. All they could do is try and earthquake proof things and prepare.
bro I would love to explore with you and the other guys and maybe I could also make my own video cause these places once mattered to a good bit of people but anyways be safe guys!! Much love
50:03 -- The facial expression of the statue looks like its final breath while pleading with God, "Why me? ... Why today?" Perhaps God had mercy, taking its life before suffering too long.
@52:10 - they may have been the actual tables on which autopsies were done...keeping in mind the age of the place. and the newer stainless steel table with water and drains and the trays in the rack likely the newer stuff that was put in and used in more recent times. In any case, it's a total trip!
It's saddening that all that art will be lost to time someday but it's good you've been able to capture some of it on film to preserve it and maybe even immortalize it all the same.
For some reason the painting on the wall at 29:27 reminds me of the starry night painting by Vincent Van Gogh but im not sure what the meaning of the painting is exactly, also several different rooms throughout the different buildings with the vines overgrowing into the windows looks like something straight out of The Last Of Us
Ok, I have watched you and your friends explore for Years….. But Josh- This One - that part when you mentioned Nathan Drake , I was thinking that exact same thing…. One for the books of any explorers…. Stay Frosty…. Howdy from Galveston, Tx…
Back in 2018 in Alaska when we had that earthquake, my Dad's car is in the photo of Vine Road that collapsed you can google it and still see the photos! The car was totaled. My Dad was fine and that was a 7.1 Earthquake. It always amazes me how earthquakes are so different in each place. The amount of destruction they can cause is insane!

God bless you all. Italian citizens are true survivors!
God Bless you all. So sorry this happened and lives were lost. I do hope it can be rebuilt better to withstand mother nature .
Laura thank God you're alive, Gby 🙌
Just want to say as someone who has watched you since the beginning, youre love and excitement for every exploring video has never changed! You can tell you truly love what youre doing. 😊 ❤
Imagine being in the middle of surgery during such a disaster (either as the patient, the doctor or even the family of the patient). Yikes!
I’d rather be the patient in that scenario, atleast I would be unconscious
@Morbidollhouse Depending on the type of anesthesia, for sure! I had the same thought!
Funny you ask I have friends that are surgeons and stuff and they are trained for these type of Scenarios. 👌
Honestly at 47:15 the room reminds me so much of Uncharted 4 when Nathan and Sam were in an abandoned house to get some key and I find that really cool. Omg i just continued watching and u mentioned it I AM SO HAPPY that you also realized it because I love Uncharted.
What I love most from your videos are you having a blast with the crews while exploring.
Josh, the roaring hauling wind in a abandoned building is the best!!!
LOVED this one. That church for sure would be somewhere I’d get married, grass, broken everything & all. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Thanks much Josh!! Much support from Nashville Tn!! 🩶🤘🏻
Josh, thank you for honouring and showing these precious places in my Country.

10:12 There were many students trapped in a partially collapsed dormitory when the 2009 earthquake happened.
It is first class Coverage from you Josh. Your content never disappoints. I Have always had an interest in the Paranormal, Ghost hunting, etc. Have witnessed things, within my own family Home, which could never be explained. People try to say that you're high on drugs/alcohol

The way nature took over the church was so beautiful
46:59 💕💕💕 thank you Josh how breathtaking 💕💕💕
Exploring with Josh the golden retriever extraordinaire
This place reminds me of Pyramiden, an abandoned Russian town on the Island of Svalbard in the arctic. I went there for our honeymoon. It was amazing!
Ok, I have watched you and your friends explore for Years….. But Josh- This One - that part when you mentioned Nathan Drake , I was thinking that exact same thing…. One for the books of any explorers…. Stay Frosty…. Howdy from Galveston, Tx…
That church was amazing!
Just watching it its crazy how an earthquake can cause so much damage 😮❤😊
Hey Josh been watching u since u started yt watch ur vids religiously. You should come to New Zealand some time see the abandoned here
Hi Josh where’s Steve R? I love when you guys go to places together ❣️
It's the "No, not Peppa Pig" for me...Haha..
Another great exploring video though, Josh and friends
I can tell it’s gonna be a good vid
When you were talking about the nightmare about the birds aroung 45:45, it reminded me of Alfred Hitchcock's movie The Birds.
Back in 2018 in Alaska when we had that earthquake, my Dad's car is in the photo of Vine Road that collapsed you can google it and still see the photos! The car was totaled.
