hahaha joohoney and i.m are the rappers of the group! them following up each other with raps is kind of their signature thing and it happens in virtually every title track. they kind of have a signature intro. for joohoney it's "joohoney one hunnit" and for i.m it's "i am what i am" although they don't say it in every song. i'm probably biased because they're my ult group but i think i have one of the strongest rap lines in kpop. sambakja is a song that's just the two rappers and it's a really good example of their talent (you'll have to watch the live performance version as there's no mv). despite their rap the two rappers are the youngest in the group and are very cute and soft irl

Gambler and Love are one hell of songs. These 2 are produced by JooHoney (pronounce Ju-Honey), the sick rapper, he's also the one doing the growling high note in Gambler and Love that sounds like MJ. He loves MJ a lot. In kpop industry, so many idols respect Monsta X, they are the most evolve and establish group. Their sound mature in some way over time but they also retain their original sound, which not a lot of groups are able to do this. They are iconic and everyone in the industry knows this!
Although they're a big bg, i still find that they are severely underrated!! Monsta X are up there with Ateez for me, a lot of their music the past few years have been self-produced etc. Their discography is flawless, i love their title tracks but I find that their bsides are even better !! esp the Fatal Love album! Monsta X is apart of the 3rd gen of kpop. They had seven members. He left under really stupid circumstances. Everyone thinks he should be back. Joohoney and I.M who do follow each other are the main rappers. They both have solo projects. I.M has his second solo project coming out next month. Joohoney put out a mini album out before his military service.
They are just. DIFFERENT. seriously god tier music from top to bottom, not a single genre they cant pull off yet keep a very unique sound. All rounder group with a heavy hand in their own sound and image. Helped inspire the generation of kpop after them. Truly living legends
Hell yes Monsta X are no skips! Every song is a banger and their b sides are sooo good. Their English music is a different vibe but like with every Monsta X song, you can still feel their specific flavor. They are not afraid to experiment so there's something for everyone in their discography. I hope you keep diving into them deeper and get to their solo music as well. There's honestly A LOT of solo music with mix tapes, Wonho's (a former member, no hard feelings there, Monbebe and MX still love him) solo career, and many of the members releasing solo albums in recent years

YUP this group are amazing ! There is a really good live performance from their rappers called Monsta X SAMBAKJA/Triple Rhythm Jooheon x I.M. but it must be the one with English subtitles so you actually see what they're saying. To date it my favourite stage of any Kpop show I've seen live - mind blowing performance and I think you'll love it !
Monsta X rap line goes soooo hard! Actually you guys were right JooHoney and I.M are the rap line, what's funnier is in 'Shoot Out' when they start their rap sets they say little quips from their name. JooHoney started the first rap set and he says "JooHoney one hundred" then in the second set when I.M starts he says "I am what I am", if you guys liked their stuff in the deep dive they also have solo stuff out too!

Some of their English title tracks are One Day, You Problem, Someone's Someone, & Who Do U Love For b sides I recommend Crescendo, Wildfire, Lost In A Dream, Mercy, Livin' It Up (Korean ver), Play It Cool (with Steve Aoki, both Korean & Eng ver are good), Secrets (from One Of A Kind album, they have multiple songs called this), Destroyer, & The Dreaming (leaving this one til the end bc it's emotional) Also, Jooheon eventually gave himself the stage name Joohoney (it was a nickname we had for him anyway) bc a lot of people/newer fans were mispronouncing his name as Joohyun since they didn't bother to look up the Korean pronunciation.
Yeeeeesssss! More Monsta X please! It's an absolute CRIME how often they are looked over! And yes, best rap duo in kpop! Also one of the best producing lines in kpop (Hyungwon, Jooheon, and IM). Also one of the best vocalist in kpop. There english albums (there are 2) are the best in kpop. I can go on and on! You can never go wrong with any title track, but definitely recommend Rush Hour next off of their No Limit album and Hero off of their album Rush. Monsta X is so underrated. They have some of the best bsides in kpop. Joohoney and I.M are one of my favorite raplines. I highly recommend "Follow" "UR" and "Crescendo" You should also check out I.M's solo stuff as well. His first ep is always at the top of my listening lists even tho it came out a bit ago. God Damn and Howlin' are my picks from that ep. He has a solo comeback on 4/3! Monsta X has gone through some shit, so I am always very happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve! Monsta X is apart of the 3rd gen of kpop. They had seven members. He left under really stupid circumstances. Everyone thinks he should be back. Joohoney and I.M who do follow each other are the main rappers. They both have solo projects. I.M has his second solo project coming out next month. Joohoney put out a mini album out before his military service.
Beastmode is another one of my favorites. Gets me hyped and wakes me up when I’m feeling tired
They are just. DIFFERENT. seriously god tier music from top to bottom, not a single genre they cant pull off yet keep a very unique sound. All rounder group with a heavy hand in their own sound and image. Helped inspire the generation of kpop after them. Truly living legends

Hell yes Monsta X are no skips! Every song is a banger and their b sides are sooo good. Their English music is a different vibe but like with every Monsta X song, you can still feel their specific flavor. They are not afraid to experiment so there's something for everyone in their discography. I hope you keep diving into them deeper and get to their solo music as well. There's honestly A LOT of solo music with mix tapes, Wonho's (a former member, no hard feelings there, Monbebe and MX still love him) solo career, and many of the members releasing solo albums in recent years
They are my ult 3rd gen group. They write and produce most of their songs. No skip discography. The younger idols like Ateez and Stray Kids emulate their sound and respect them. They're the whole package.
YUP this group are amazing ! There is a really good live performance from their rappers called Monsta X SAMBAKJA/Triple Rhythm Jooheon x I.M. but it must be the one with English subtitles so you actually see what they're saying. To date it my favourite stage of any Kpop show I've seen live - mind blowing performance and I think you'll love it !
Monsta X rap line goes soooo hard! Actually you guys were right JooHoney and I.M are the rap line, what's funnier is in 'Shoot Out' when they start their rap sets they say little quips from their name. JooHoney started the first rap set and he says "JooHoney one hundred" then in the second set when I.M starts he says "I am what I am", if you guys liked their stuff in the deep dive they also have solo stuff out too!
Honestly Monsta X is the only kpop group that is interesting to me bc their comebacks are so creative everytime

Leader rapper joohoney writes , produces a lot of their songs..Kpop rappers look up to joohoney . They have.2 English albums as well.. ‘Love ‘was written and produced by joohoney , music producers that react, are blown away with his talent in producing that one

And that is why both ateez & monsta x are my ult groups along with shinee, oneus, & onlyoneof 😌✨ I cannot even begin to describe to you how AMAZING they are live!! I've seen them twice and both shows are in my top concerts I've ever been to
Their title tracks are great but their b sides are even better somehow 😌 they also have two full english albums that are heavenly to listen to, both vocals & instrumentals
Highly recommend checking out Fantasia, Follow, Dramarama (yes that is spelled correctly), Hero, Love Killa, Rush Hour, Bad Liar, and Beautiful! Some of their English title tracks are One Day, You Problem, Someone's Someone, & Who Do U Love
For b sides I recommend Crescendo, Wildfire, Lost In A Dream, Mercy, Livin' It Up (Korean ver), Play It Cool (with Steve Aoki, both Korean & Eng ver are good), Secrets (from One Of A Kind album, they have multiple songs called this), Destroyer, & The Dreaming (leaving this one til the end bc it's emotional)
Also, Jooheon eventually gave himself the stage name Joohoney (it was a nickname we had for him anyway) bc a lot of people/newer fans were mispronouncing his name as Joohyun since they didn't bother to look up the Korean pronunciation.
the one coming in with the vocals is Kihyun. It's a running joke in whole of kpop that the k in kpop stans for kihyun 😁

Yeeeeesssss! More Monsta X please! It's an absolute CRIME how often they are looked over! And yes, best rap duo in kpop! Also one of the best producing lines in kpop (Hyungwon, Jooheon, and IM). Also one of the best vocalist in kpop. There english albums (there are 2) are the best in kpop. I can go on and on! You can never go wrong with any title track, but definitely recommend Rush Hour next off of their No Limit album and Hero off of their album Rush. Their b-sides never miss either, so definitely check those out too. Loved the reaction!!!
My personal recommendations for a vol. 2 would be Dramarama, Beautiful, Trespass, and All In. But honestly ANY Monsta X song is a great choice.

You nailed the rappers by their names. They are one of the few groups that have B-sides as good as the main hits.
Love is such a good song it’s insane- easily one of the best kpop songs ever imo
when you guys said how the last two names sound like rappers, I was screaming at my phone like "YES! YOU'RE RIGHT!!" LOL. The last two are the youngest and our rapline they're incredible and the best rapper duo in kpop.
Monsta X is so underrated. They have some of the best bsides in kpop. Joohoney and I.M are one of my favorite raplines. I highly recommend "Follow" "UR" and "Crescendo" You should also check out I.M's solo stuff as well. His first ep is always at the top of my listening lists even tho it came out a bit ago. God Damn and Howlin' are my picks from that ep. He has a solo comeback on 4/3!
Monsta X has gone through some shit, so I am always very happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve! Kihyun is top 3 vocalist for me. This man's vocals are a godsend for real. Have actually brought me to tears before 😅 , (comma) is my fave from him.

This was honestly one of the most hype reactions I’ve seen! Loved this video and it’s my first video I’ve seen of you guys! I highly am. It saying this as a fan, but honestly legitimately all of their music is so good! I recommend all of their music including their English and Japanese music too…these guys are imho impressive with everything! The rappers can sing, the vocalists can rap! The rap line (Jooheon and I.M) actually write all of their music and their raps too, they ebb and flow so well! They are THEEE K-pop’s BEST Rappers (humbly imo) but for real though, MX are so versatile and they nail everything they do. They’re true artists! I love how the beginning of shootout it literally drew you guys in 😂 that’s what monsta x does they draw you in. Even with there slower songs. So yes our rappers is jooheon you say his name like joo hon or joo honey. It’s not Joe honey. These guys are amazing. And I’m glad you guys picked up on the deck thing in alligator. Shootout and alligator is part of there seven deadly sins storyline but when wonho left they couldn’t continue it so it’s with there time travel storyline.
