It’s true his face and his deep voice was his biggest asset as well as his built up. These were enough to make an impact as well his dialogue delivery. He was better than the villains today as he did not involve himself in dirty acts but still audience would squirm when he appeared on screen I specially remember his role in Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi it was of a fraudster and killer of rich business men, at the same time he had an air of dignity around him.
One of the finest gentlemen of indian cinema.I had the pleasure of knowing him personally and used to visit him regularly in his matunga house. He acted as villain in movies with distinction but in real life he was very intelligent and a thorough gentleman. Once a friend always a friend was his character. Prithviraj Kapoor was a very close friend of his and Raj Kapoor respected KN Singh as his guru and respected him.
