hi there from Greece, the song of sabaton coat of arms its not about the Thermopylae and the Spartans but for the italian attack in greece at 28 october 1940, the song in the begining says'' that dawn, october of 28th'', it just say just as the ancient spartan defend greece now the modern greeks would defend their too! you can find other videos here at youtube with the lyrics just type sabaton - coat of arms and you would understand what the song says

The song is not about ancient Greece but about Greco-Italian war at beginning of WW2. On 28 October 1940 Italy attacked Greece, war lasted 5 months and Greece surrendered to Germans who came to help Italian army. Sabaton sings about king Leonidas and his 300 meaning that Greek soldiers in 1940 fought as bravely as ancient Spartans.

@ch4zz7 Coat of Arms is about the Battle of Thermopyle in 480BC, and towards the end the theme changes to the Greco-Italian War of 1940 (part of WW2.)

Fajnie ci się udało dopasować tekst utworu do teledysku - akurat nic nie mogłeś poradzić na to,że w tej piosence jest o bombowcach,itp.,ale z tym deszczem (strzał) wyszło ci nieźle ;)

Żeby nie było wątpliwości, bo widzę że się tu takowe pojawiają. Piosenka ta jest o wojnie włosko-greckiej, która miała miejsce w 1941 roku. Nawiązanie do Leonidasa w tej piosence ma na celu ukazanie tego, że tak samo jak przed wiekami w wojnie w 1941 była wielka dysproporcja sił między najeźdźcą, a obronicą. A filmik świetny, bardzo mi się podoba.
Cięcie miecza w walce może być tak szybkie że krew nie zdąży na nim osiąść. Po prostu stal przecinająca tkankę i "Wylatująca" z niej może zwyczajnie "uciec" Przed krwią która nie zdąży nabiec do rany. Końcówką szabli węgierskiej potocznej "Czarnej Husarskiej" Zadawało się cięcia które w ogóle nie brudziły ostrza(Oczywiście to nie była stalowa zasada/reguła). Owy miecz był dosyć krótki i raczej ostry więc mogła występować ta sama sytuacja. Pozdrawiam : )
