Hi Dan - Those are cool items! I had that same Mercury record player. Needed it to take to record shows to test 45s. I bought that on Ebay for $25 plus $12 shipping. Used it for a year or two then sold it on Craigslist. If I recall, I got $30 for it. My collections are changing all the time. I keep something for awhile, then try to sell it and hope to come close to what I payed for originally. You win some, you lose some.
I really like that little microphone stand. If I saw that, I would have grabbed that in a second. Not sure why, don't know what I've ever do with it, but it looks cool and unique. I got a few things like that already. Why I pick up things like that I don't know, but... what ever trips your trigger, right? Thanks for sharing. See ya -- Atco

Hi Atco, I change out my stuff too. I'll get bored with something and have a reason to search for something else to replace it - good fun! Maybe someday you'll see one of the Philips microphone sets in wood-grain for sale - I really like those!

I found this mic for 38 dollars, but I do not know if its is possible to change ithe pin to use it with modern recorders. I would like to know about the sound quality or this mic.

No, I haven't taken the time yet. When (or "if") I get it fixed I'll upload another video about it.
