I’m actually glad they changed Orbital’s special, since having someone teleport away would be pretty much useless. Wish they kept how the rain 2 was though.
Tm4 was a LOT for the ps1 hardware to handle. I remember being incredibly impressed for what they achieved in this game. It was fast, crisp and reactive.
3:183:26 i’m a big fan of crazy size differences in car combat games (for example vigilante 8: 2nd offense, carmageddon splat pack, carmageddon 2, and the minion boss fight from tmb)! gives the cast of characters more variety/personality and makes the big guys extra intimidating haha
I always felt that Minion's special should freeze AND light them on fire simultaneously. The only boss that really feels like a boss in 4 is Sweettooth.
@@VicariousNickk If those are the beta commands, the shield is white and lasts for 12 seconds, the invisible one lasts 12 seconds and another one as an iso to appear the bosses, it looks very interesting in the beta
@@VicariousNickk Those are the commands and yes there is a shield but they are like twisted metal 3 but there is no shield and this one is different combinations invisible: left--right--up--down shield: down--up--left--right. massive:up--down--up--down and there is a hidden trick in the final version of tm4 instant death: up--down--right--left---right by pressing quick buttons
The game always crashes after the road rage level so it might need a fix as to what's causing it. (The games probably not spawning the bosses since it spawns them normally without the hack to make them playable)

I remember as a lad my cousin and I would pick Auger and he would pick Super Slam. We'd both hit the same target with our specials and let the physics of slamming and spinning shoot us out of the map. Edit: Peepee poopoo
this is what i get for not checking #twistedboys-youtube lmfao. literally wrote the tcrf page and didnt even see you playing it on video release smhhh I thought a lot of the crashes can be mitigated by WAITING like 8 seconds in the car select menu without touching anything (or just speed up the emu), but I wonder if that's still the case with the hack. thinking back even now the prototype feels like a Pedro mod, a lot of weapons are more dynamic and most importantly have a sense of impact!

Oh yeah very impressive for that year, playing this on emulator with overclocked cpu on 4k it's definitely a treat with 30 fps locked.
