Nice video. I’m local to Grenoside and awesome news is all three of the Grenoside trails are being rebuilt from tomorrow. 30k has been raised by Ride Sheffield, so as from tomorrow they’re starting walk on pub run, the steel city and then finally DH3, 10k spend on each trail. The work is also being completed by the same team that produced the latest trails and jumps at Revs bike park last year. All three should be finished by the end of April in time for Steve Peats 10th Steel City race day in May, biggest event yet with a brand new trail. These trails are ridden a hell of a lot hence the reason they’re so cut up at the moment and due to Covid they’ve had no rebuilds since 2019. Can’t wait to see the new lines. 🤘🏻🍻😎
Honestly, my advice is consistency and practice, never give up! It also helps if you can try and find somewhere local where you can go repeatedly and build up on the features to the bigger ones. I have a local place to me Called Twisted oaks bike park which helped me massively with my progression and got me to where I am today. Videos are also helpful for some people, personally for me I didn't use any as I self taught myself all the way and followed/ watched what others around me did. Basically, you want to find somewhere that will allow you to progress up to the hardest features, even Grenoside in this video is good for that and take your time, accomplish to complete and clear one jump at a time until you've cleared the whole trail and are confident. Then, move on to the next trail, ideally a harder one and repeat the process etc... This is certainly what helped me the most but it is just trial and error to see what works for you! Basically, don't give up and keep trying and you'll eventually get it! I'm not great with advice but hope this helped a little bit!
This is unrelated to the video but could you suggest any beginner to intermediate level trails at twisted oaks as I have been riding for a while but very new to jumping. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏 🙂
There are small jumps in the DJ area and to the left is a step up which is fine to case, if you wanna do gaps on the big which is the start of the BMX track thing are small gaps less than a m and tables right nect to if
Oh Really? :( That's sad to hear as that was quite a good trail and also great for people wanting a warmup... Hopefully I'll be heading back soon so I'll come have a look.
@@tommytoker9072 wow that’s great to hear! I haven’t been many places recently, hence fewer videos as other things have taken the time and there’s been no time for biking :( But hopefully soon I’ll be back riding weekly! Maybe even abroad soon hopefully 😂👀
@@TrailTrialerMTB come after April and all grenoside should be fresh, the are doing a full renovation of all 3 lines. Was there a couple of weeks ago and saw the signs for it.
@@TrailTrialerMTB ah well that's important , I can imagine you can't wait to ride and upload more too! Hope you do well with your school and a levels buddy!

What ROC Cycles said ⬆️🤩
Man Sheff has changed since then, you should go now... the first one at Grenoside seems to have virtually disappeared...
