I did it! 4,000 blocks through the nether, and a perimeter on location. This works great. Magma cubes will push minecarts off when jumping around. Just border the minecarts with glass to fix this. I got a stack of wither heads in the time it took me to cook dinner and wash the dishes. Two thumbs up from me!
I did manage to rotate the farm towards the east direction, I think I stopped magma cubes from spawning by putting a glass block one over the spawn points, and breaking the raised wall where they spawn, for depositing mobs at the end, because of how the minecarts work, I can send them between two panes, very good farm design, and great video!

If you put the last minecart right up to the edge of the trident killer hole and place a button on the wall at the same height as the minecart, it will eject the mobs directly into the hole. Also, a big timesave is to skip finding the spawn spots and just build the entire length like you do the spawn spot (as block, gap, glass block). Absolutely amazing design with the conveyer belt! I had a nightmare of a time figuring out the spawning points, and then wasn't getting any wither skeletons. Instead of the glass I put a row of observers that powered pistons on top. A piece of string on the spawn block will let the mobs spawn and alert the observer, powering the pistons and pushing them into the conveyer belt. Had to have 3 blocks over the spawn row for withers to spawn. Also like a lot of folks they wouldn't fall off the fence post so I replaced that with packed ice and it works better most of the time. I keep having large magma cubes causing a back up near the opening, so I rigged up a oberver/dispenser to shoot arrows to shrink it in size but I would really appreciate if anyone else had a better idea!

Built this in my survival world 1.20.41. Works great. This design looked more fun than a lot of the crazier farms. That being said, the minecarts do occasionally break for some reason so I have to keep some iron nearby for building new ones. I've been debating implementing a portal based design for that reason, but given that you generally need 2 people or to be stupid fast for that, I'd rather keep it one-dimension AFKable with a trident killer. I've seen a lot of comments for people asking about/having issues with using wither roses to get just wither skeleton spawns. It does work, but you need to move the glass block above the spawn block one block higher. So Netherack/dirt, wither rose, air block, then glass block.
@26:00 you might want to consider putting a repeater with full delay before the block with the torch so that the trident killer will keep running a bit after you turn the conveyor line off. Otherwise, this looks like a fantastic system, and a huge improvement over how I've been trying to do a wither skeleton farm in my hard survival world!
I upgraded it. Added iron bar walls five high above the edge of the spawn lane and added a slab roof over the kill chamber with a wither rose that can only hit large size mobs like the cubes. Now nothing can spawn except the spawn lane and even the magma cubes die.

Looks like my next build is in the works now. Just want to say for ps4 players the trident killer NEEDS a repeater to slow down the pistons or they do not have time to fall the final block.
The concept of this build is super cool and I’ve never seen anyone talk about how to find spawn points with glass like this. But oh boy, would this be labor-intensive in survival. I may try to build a mini one though, just to play around with it.

Bruh... The worst part is the spawnable blocks. The fortress near my base is totally on the nether wastes and soul sand biom. There is no lava under it. The new fortress is 2600 blocks away.
That is a new one. Do all the carts break? Its possible you are right on a chunk border. In recent updates I've seen a couple of my minecarts with hoppers disappear. =( This wasn't an issue when I made this farm originally.
I built the farm it's quite Amazing. I Just have a problema with the Minecart, at the end the mob don't fallo down and they come back in the last Minecart. Do you have some tips?. Thanks Stoich for this Amazing farm❤
I replaced spawning point blocks with dirt and wither roses and the block adjasentwith glass so only wither skellys can spawn but every now and then they mess up the minecarts near the trident killer. It's like they're not dropping down fast enough. I've even replaced the fence post with a line of buttons on the wall facing the last minecart. Any suggestions. I must say even though I can only run this for like 2 to 3 min at a time. The amount of skulls are still pretty impressive. Good job and great tutorial!
And back again - this farm was working 100% on my realm... and time to rebuild it... checked out newer farms, but loved this design so going again... Stoic - any updates based on changes?
I hope this works well because I'm doing "the end" where I spawn a lot of withers I mean a LOT of withers so wish me luck it works and wish everyone on my relm luck that thay survive
Another great farm, although since I'm on console I had to modify it heavily as XP buildup is a big lag concern for me and this thing cranks out a lot. Set it up where I am at the end of the trident killer soaking up the xp with 3 spawn points active. Have separate switches for the trident killer and conveyor belt and an item elevator bringing everything up to the sorting system right next to me. I don’t use rails much and didn’t know about this quick mob movement. I wonder if I could get this to work with a general over world mob farm
It’s my first video of yours and I thought you did an amazing job of explaining things in a way that I can follow without doing a block by block build
Cheers
Thank you!! Enjoy!
that was amazing mate, well done
That's cool never knew you can do these kind of farms
Playing on a realm with a hardcore addon and im gonna try this farm, but on the treasure room section of the fortress since you can get denser spawn locations. Should be good fun
U r great work superb ...getting wither head is never been so easy🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
you can use /fill to fill or to replace the block with target blocks and by this way the rails wouldn't break.
Looks like my next build is in the works now.
Just want to say for ps4 players the trident killer NEEDS a repeater to slow down the pistons or they do not have time to fall the final block.
This farm looks very cool! And unique because of the minecarts
I really appreciate your work 😊
Love your content bro im subscribing
IMO, portals builds are easier to build. Not more difficult. And they requier less spawn-proofing.
But great and very smart build !
Thank you for this. I am going to try it in my world.
The concept of this build is super cool and I’ve never seen anyone talk about how to find spawn points with glass like this. But oh boy, would this be labor-intensive in survival. I may try to build a mini one though, just to play around with it.
I'm glad you got something from it! I know it was long, but I loved the uniqueness. :)
This farm is amazing bro thanks for this great tutorial! ❤️
Best Wither farm i say easy and cheap thnk u for making this video
Works and best farm fortress farm ive found for bedrock but the only problem i had that the mobs werent spawing because it was on north west so had to switch south east but the tutorial wasnt consdering that just the nw corner of south east but not exactly which one of the four blocks
Does it still work in 1.19.73?
@@eatinsomthin9920 yeah
@@kareem4164 k thanks
Can you tell in more detail, it's kind of confusing.
Amazing design and I love foxy no tail add ons too. And have you ever thought about going a sever? If so let me know I know a great one.
Bruh... The worst part is the spawnable blocks. The fortress near my base is totally on the nether wastes and soul sand biom. There is no lava under it. The new fortress is 2600 blocks away.
How much would u rate the hardness to build the farm also amazing farm NEVER quit youtube new sub luv u❤️
Thanks for subbing! I would say medium. Just a lot of blocks like most farms and you're dealing with the nether.
@@StoicEpoch oh cool
Do you think i could add some campfires to destroy the xp?
85th subscriber, don't forget me man!
I absolutely love this farm! I am having an issue with my minecart keeps breaking. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
That is a new one. Do all the carts break? Its possible you are right on a chunk border. In recent updates I've seen a couple of my minecarts with hoppers disappear. =( This wasn't an issue when I made this farm originally.
Dude, this is genius
Does it work in 1.21
What about the xp build up? Isn't it going to lag out a server or realm?
I built the farm it's quite Amazing. I Just have a problema with the Minecart, at the end the mob don't fallo down and they come back in the last Minecart. Do you have some tips?. Thanks Stoich for this Amazing farm❤
Question, if I only want wither to be spawn, can I put wither rose on the spawn point?
Thanks for nice video
There are wither skeleton sppawns on the edges where you place slabs
Beautiful thank you never found a fortress farm design that seemed any fun to build or watch till this one.
Just do a 5 minute portal based wither farm. Way better rates than this
@@Godakuri I would do that for sure if I didn't hate portal based farms 👍 thanks tho
@@Savage49er16 Why would you hate the best farms in the game. Built silent whispers wither farm and my game almost crashes with how many wither skulls I get
@@Godakuri Lol I play single player so I don't want to worry about multiple dimensions or all that lag I just want to afk at the farm. Plus Silents designs are usually sloppy/unreliable imo anyway and I redesigned this one so its alot more fun to build/look at anyway
@@Savage49er16 everything you said is just so wrong, but okay. You do you
Soy el sub número 300 ❤️
nice, you only need one dropper btw. rest can just be solid blocks
Nunca había visto ése sistema muy bueno la verdad
I'm glad you liked it!
