The bassist rips through this Ecole song. Everyone in Joe's band is amazing. The keyboardist is in the rock and roll hall of fame as part of SRV band Double trouble.
Saw him when he was about 14 or 15 and his dad brought him to a local talent night one night at a resort bar. They weren't going to let him play until a bunch of us yelled let him play. He blew everyone away that night. Seen him a few times since, an incredible player bar none.
JOE Bonamassa is probably the best blues/rock guitar alive at this time. He is exceptionally talented and versatile! Saw him live a few years ago in Milwaukee and he was fabulous! His voice seems to have gotten stronger and fuller since he started with vocals as well as guitar! A great musician.
@@brianaugustine4651 Like you, I am a gigantic SRV fan and it kind of pains me to write my comment. That said, I think Bonamassa is a much more versatile guitar player with a greater mastery of the instrument. Not only can he kill it on SRV style tracks, but look at his work with black country communion and Beth Hart. Not to take anything away from the greatness of SRV but in the totality of everything, I think Bonamassa brings more to the table.
Love the reaction, I have seen Joe Bonamassa (pronounced Bah ne mah sa) I have seen him and his band several times live and it is truly an awesome show - was so excited to see this reaction pop up today!
Joe Bonamassa is a blues-rock guitar god! He doesn't just limit himself to that genre, he also plays jazz-fusion with the group "Rock Candy Funk Party" and hard rock with the group "Black Country Communion". His collaborations with the phenomenal singer Beth Hart are great. Two of my favorite performances from Joe are from his "Live at the Greek Theatre" performance. "Hummingbird" and "Angel of Mercy". His producer is Kevin Shirley, who has produced albums from Journey, Iron Maiden, Rush, and Led Zeppelin. In the last 13 years Joe has put out 15 solo albums through his independent record label J&R Adventures, of which 11 have reached number 1 on the Billboard Blues charts. Got to finally see him live in Austin at the beginning of April. Great show!
For me Joe is keeping Gary Moore`s style alive. I saw him live in Germany a few years back, he is great live. Check out Sloe gin and Driving towards the daylight
Joe. Joe .. lol He opened for BB at 12. JB was singing and all guitar parts. He has pushed the boundaries of blues. He just had his 27th number 1 blues album. Thanks for the reaction.🦁☮️
It would appear from the video it was Kevin Shirley that produced the album. Kevin does Iron Maiden's albums not mention countless other big band albums!
I just watched your video from 2 years ago of your reaction to Rose of Sharyn and at the beginning of that video you encouraged your subscribers to recommend new bands that nobody else is reacting to. I highly recommend and suggest any song by a new band that was formed in 2019 and only has 1 album. Weekend Picnic Any song by them. Hopefully your reaction will be first time hearing the song you choose.
In 2019 Guitar World named Joe Bonamassa the #1 Blue guitarist in the world. To put this into perspective; Eric Clapton ranked #2! He is also the most successful Blues Act in the history of recorded music according to his 24 strait #1 albums on the Billboard Blues charts.
Stevie Ray Vaughan is my favorite of all time and may be the greatest but there is no doubt that Joe is the best, most technically talented, proficient, any other word you want to use, guitarist alive today. By any measurable scale there is, Joe Bonamassa is the greatest living blues guitarist alive today. Bar none.
Hi T, you and your wife do such an awesome job on your reaction videos. You guys play all of my favourite bands, I'm 54 years of age. I would love it if you can put my request on please. The band is Papa Roach: song is called, Last Resort. You guys 🤘 Rock 🤘, keep up the good work 👍 from Dave, 🇦🇺 Australia.
The further you bet into the Bonamassa rabbit hole you start to think "I'll never get out of here"! Went pro at 11 or so opening for B.B. King 10+ shows. The man is now only 45. Best get to diggin'...
this was a room full of professional Blues performers all the way through the 3 backup singers, most are Joe's tour band ,when it comes to playing the blues guitar Joe is at the top of the pile, he also works with many other top blues artists . Enjoyed your reaction please find time to react to more of his work
I just subscribed to your channel because of someone finally giving Joe his dues....Try "Hummingbird - Live from the Greek Theater". It will blow you away!!!!!!
Joe is a once in a lifetime child prodigy, and a must-see live! If you watch any local PBS channels, they often have one of his live concert replays during fundraising times. Also check out some Joe and Beth Hart videos - she's an amazing blues/rock singer too!
T, one of the biggest influences on Bonamassa was Tommy Bolin. So much so that he pursued and purchased Tommy's personal guitar. great request to Fried
Great current artist!! The best current rock band on the planet is Alter Bridge. “Blackbird” or “Words Darker than their Wings” live at Royal Albert Hall.
Bonamassa is incredible. Check out Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart doing I'd Rather Go Blind. Make sure to get the Live From Amsterdam version. It will blow your socks off.
Michael Rhodes in my opinion is one of the best bass players ever. Look up his song credits and you find many names such as Vince Gill and Darius Rucker.
You gotta listen to Chris Whitin he has such a different sound. It's like a mix of Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam with some outlaw country and blues. Honestly sounds like something that would have been played in Sons Of Anarchy ruclips.net/video/9SfZc2811iE/видео.html
Simply put JB is the GOAT .. Sloe Gin is worth a listen 👍🏼

Joe Bonamassa might be the greatest blues-rock guitarist/singer of all time.
If Stevie Ray Vaughan wouldn't have existed
@@brianaugustine4651 Good point....lets say, best blues singer alive. Only one SRV!!
Agreed

Great reaction, for a more blues oriented song try Self Inflicted Wounds, thanks
Bad ass band
No radio play what so ever and sells out his concert in minutes. And those venues are not small either. Can you imagine if he got radio airplay
He ranks with the best blues/ rock skill EVER - Watch him with BB King and Beth hart. Awesome !!!
