I still haven't tried Gucci beauty yet, I'm not interested in this foundation. I really want the bronzer and a blush they are definitely going to be my first purchase. I am looking forward to your Laura Mericier foundation review. I have the Hourglass, the Armani luminous silk, and the Nars light reflecting, the Nars is hands down my fave .

Woo hoo! I get to see this at work at lunch ❤ your skin looked beautiful! This was a great shade match, and the foundation name means “Eternity of Beauty” or more colloquially eternal beauty. I have the Gucci Primer Serum de Beaute and I love it! It is so luxurious and when the humid dog days of summer in NYC hit, I just use it and no foundation. It is $58 but I think worth it. Thank you for a great video!❤❤ oh and maybe it was your Flower Beauty powder that oxidized and not the foundation. The FB powder is made with silica but the Cover Girl has Mica listed as the first ingredient. Silica in makeup is hydrated silica (adioxide) and Mica while also a mineral is elastic. Perhaps the bamboo powder (which is made from the elastic stem of a bamboo plane) in the Gucci reacts better to another mica like item-which your cover girl has. I would be curious to see if the Gucci reacts with other powders and what the powders ingredients arw❤

I'm not planning to try this foundation, but I dearly love my Gucci bronzer! Their brow "powder pencil," or whatever they call it... not so much!
A few of you have some nice things to say about their blush and bronzer! I might have to try! I do think the packaging is really pretty!

The Gucci blushers and their bronzer are absolutely gorgeous, especially the blushers - they're definitely in my top 3!!
This foundation is not dry skin friendly but, even on combination/oily skin, it isn't the prettiest. I think applying a light(ish) layer will provide a less cakey looking finish.
The fragrance used in this foundation is the Peony Vintage. Maybe, it's added to the foundation to give a uniform scent, if used together??
One thing to mention is the number of different dimethicones used - there's a heck of a lot!!!
Not my choice of product but I have dry skin.

My mandatory french classes in Canada actually come in handy when reading makeup labels (although my accent is TERRIBLE!) a-tare-nee-tay (a as in the letter a; tay as in taylor). And even that pronunciation is clunky lol.
The flower beauty powder probably made your concealer darker bc it's a finishing powder, not a setting powder.. you'd need to set it first with a separate setting powder first.

I saw Patty’s review Patty Alonso she’s dry and she liked it, I do agree with her I don’t think it’s full coverage, also to have to build up a foundation that much to get the luminosity I don’t think it’s worth the price tag in the sense that to get your monies worth it’s gonna be more of a medium matte finish in which case I would rather just go for something like the Nars soft matte. If I had the money to spend I don’t think I would go for this one. I agree with what you’ve said before I think when it come to luxury base Lancôme and YSL do the best, thanks hun 💖🙏

What shade did you get exactly? The fair shades go all the way from110C to 180W, I'm curious because I wear the same shade as tie you in a lot of other foundations.

Hallo Steff, thank you for reviewing. I was wondering about this. I have three other high end ones on my list to try after I used up a few. I was waiting to see if this would go ahead of them and nope. Really appreciate your review. YSL is at the top, I had it in 2021 then bought some other ones but I am thinking I want this back either that or Estee Lauder or Armani for my combo skin dry with nose area that goes oily to normal. 💚💙 thank you so much
Ps I do have Gucci blush and to be honest kinda expected it to be better but maybe it is the shade. "Rosy beige"

Did this oxidise? I feel like the shadematch was great in the morning, but when you showed your neck after twelve hours, I clearly saw a color difference.
I would say perhaps a tad, but if I had to choose over again, I'd still go with this shade.
I forgot to mention Jen Phelps video last night was so much fun. She used a robot software to pick her makeup. Would be fun to see you do this, but I understand if nah you don't want to copy another content creators . Just your approach to make and skin is very different so curious if you would find similar results. 💚

I'm okay with fragrance but like the huda fragrance is too much and the gucci fragrance reminds me of old women using the bathroom 😂🤣 I can't handle it, it's like perfume and old vagina hahaha 😆 😅
