Your vest and sweater are beautiful! Love your color and yarn choices. Totally, agree about too much detail in some yarn patterns. Glad I found your channel.❤
The body of a sweater is always the Land of Tedium for me, unless it’s an all-over color work pattern. The only way I can force myself to finish is by switching to another, very different project for a while, giving my brain and fingers a rest. Your vest is gorgeous and fits you perfectly! You clearly did pass the test!
I absolutely love your honest reviews of patterns and yarn! Thanks for sharing your making journey with us! The vest definitely looks like it was worth the effort ❤
Oooooh that vest was so worth is Kendra! I looooove the charcoal wool with the black mohair - it looks so classy! I’ve also been eyeing your Friday Tee as you’ve been sharing photos of it on Instagram, and I totally agree that your colours are AWESOME!!! 😍
This pattern is in my ravelry favourites for months. Thank you for sharing your knitting process, it is very helpful ! Your Friday slipover looks great on you ! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of your knitting videos !
The vest was so worth the effort - it is beautiful! My granddaughter who is 11, has just asked me to make her a sweater - she wants a long-sleeved full sweater with a half zip and collar - all in broken rib!!! I will have to persevere like you did on your vest.
Thank you for your video. I love watching your videos while I knit!! I hesitated knitting this design because I would have had to knit the biggest size and felt that it would be too small for me. Seeing that you knit a XL and how it fits on you really confirms it. The lack of short rows would also be a problem for me. I chose the Moriarty vest by NCL knit and it worked great for me. I love the yarn you chose and might try to use some mohair for my next project!
Beautiful ❤. I’m new to your channel. In other words, this was my very first video to watch. I love the format. Your projects are fabulous. I can’t wait to knit a Friday Slipover and a Tee. Thank you for your inspiration and honesty. Ready for the broken rib!!!
Hey girl I totally get it, knitting friday sweater junior by petite knit and it is a slog... but it is a great pattern. I don't like the process. Your slipover looks great.
😂🤣😂 I see that my knitting process is the same as yours. Im here for the product too but I do enjoy knitting. Trying so hard not to cast on another project. 😂 Beautiful vest and tee by the way.
new subby, loved this video as well, I only knit socks but I can relate to your knitting style. I was just binge watching your other videos so I am happy you uploaded 😁
I've been knitting for a long time - so by default I've become a process knitter (how many knits does a girl need??). Having said that, I agree that having a max of 1-3 projects on needles at a time (one of which is always socks) means that I have a project suitable for knitting in every environment and I get the knits done. Of course, it's fun to see how every knitter rolls, but I really don't know how 5 on the go knits (i.e. none hibernating) leads to the fun of the finish. Takes too long for me. I actually don't believe in project hibernation. The only time I've done it, the project is still 90 per cent finished but not complete cuz the yarn is long gone and I just haven't figured out a fix. It's been in this state for about 8 years. If I lose interest in a project, I frog it. No need to feel like my languishing knits are giving me side-eye.
Petite Knit patterns are a real challenge to me. I do have a knit teacher and she helps me. But Petite Knit patterns are a bit difficult for me. A newer knitter without assistance, will have trouble.
Have you watched the videos by Kimmie Munkholm on here? She explains many of the major steps of PK's patterns and I find them so helpful. Using those videos, I have been able to knit many of PK patterns including Champagne, Agnete, Jenny sweater, Eva, etc. I learned to knit on my own so these videos have been very helpful. Hope that helps.
Kendra: Fingering weight and mohair is all the rage in the knitting community right now. Me: Looks around at all of my 4ply cones and mohair that are destined to be worked up together. *immediately feels attacked* 😂 On an actually serious note, as a serial pattern tester that is always looking for clarity and with the beginner knitter in mind, I also appreciate how simple PetiteKnit patterns are and that I can just step to the beat of my own drum when knitting them.

Could you maybe give an example of a designer who " holds your hand" as a beginner. I am still new as a knitter and need the "hand holding " 😅
I am soooo not a tedious project knitter. But I also want to compete a petite knit pattern sooo bad! You just confirmed I gotta do it!
Well my job here is complete! 😅
I love that vest. Going to give it a whirl. Love your channel and energy. BTW...which knitting needles are you using? Thank You!
Thank you! I use the ChiaoGoo red lace interchangeable needles 😁
Love the color choices and details in the short rows💕do you take your coffee black?
Thanks! I usually just add a little maple syrup and sometimes I'll put in almond milk if I have any 😁

😂😂😂 well to be fair, I now understand why it's so popular!
