Small update: As of writing this, patch 1.5 came out and it includes all the previous patches, so just install it and copy the files into your game folder and you're good to go.

Thanks, but with 1.5 it says you ONLY need to install 1.5 since it includes all previous patches. Much easier!

It usually asks you to install it while installing the app. You can also download openAL manually here: www.openal.org/downloads/
