I found this video because I wanted to know how to pronounce Acropora Yongei. I discovered this because I was looking for a good name for a D&D coral based creature. It's fascinating and kind of wild to see there are serious and popular RUclips channels solely devoted to coral. Good on you all for bringing rank enthusiasm to a relatively niche interest.
Great list. I would add the Orange Passion and the Home Wrecker to my list. Walt Disney is definitely my favorite from your list followed by the Optimus Prime. Weekly watcher. Thank you for your videos.

I have a cookie monster acro in my tank, also know as acropora sarmentosa. Probably my favorite coral in the tank. Has amazing color and a suttle, unique growth pattern when compared to other acropora.
The Haymaker is absolutely gorgeous. I have never seen an acro like that! Thank you so much for sharing. I’ll have to look into snagging a frag sometime. It has definitely made its way into my wishlist as well.
Amazing - glad you mentioned the Snowdrop is tabling - one thing that annoys me is you only see the frag and then have to research what a colony can look like. I wish more coral sellers would give better info on acros - Coral Euphoria does an amazing job. Great to see the colors you love are similar to what I love.
Btw favourite coral has to be the Cookie Monster, the way it grows just looks so different! Almost like someone smushing clay on the tip and it kinda runs down, it’s awesome

Ill probably be ready for acros 2 years into the tank being established. For some reason starting with dry rock makes it very hard to start with any sps even if you keep everything super stable.
if you check out the reef2reef forums, they've talked about this pretty extensively. Theres a pretty vast difference in the build up of bacteria and microfauna in live rock vs what you'll see from dry rock for, coincidentally, about two years.
Wow we the same taste in coral because I have all but 2 of those frags and not to many more than that in my reef. Nice job, I just wish you would've thrown a colony pict up with the frag so people could really see what these puppies look like.
Another great video man! Great selection there. You make it soooo difficult to pick a favorite. But I think I’m leaning towards the Cookie Monster. It has a unique look and definitely would stand out in a tank. I‘ve been keeping fish for around 30 years and am still fairly new to reefing, and I have been soaking up all the info I can get while I’m setting up my 120 reef tank. All of that to say thank you for your videos man. I find myself looking forward to your post every Sunday. Great job and keep up the good work brother!
I personally like the Pink Floyd acro but as to your list.. I go with Haymaker. Or a tabling acro. I am very near putting corals into my newest tank and as it is a cube I will llimit it to 3 acros as it is my first endeavor into them..
Not a fan of SPS in general, but it is a sign you have your stuff together. So with that... Acros are the only ones I currently have. My favorite is ice breaker. BUT that hay maker... oh my.
I’ve got a few of these, sometimes I get lucky and grab an “accidental frag” when I go into wwc to get water. They are my LFS, and I sometimes drive up to TSA and LRO too
