There are so many factors going into what we choose to wear...weather, mood, season, activity, schedule, novelty, tradition, memory, cravings, etc. It is an art, a science, a product, and a symbol. I think that those creative and personal aspects of fragrance are what make videos like this one enjoyable and thought-provoking.

did you have to macerate it? Mine was produced 2 months ago and I'm not getting many of the notes I was hoping for - no fig at all and not much when it comes to tea. Right now it's very similar to Versace Cristal Noir (just a bit more gentle) I used to have a few years ago. I hope it will change a bit as I am not interested in Crystal Noir anymore 😀

After 2 weeks I can smell some iris which I almost didn't get at the beginning so I hope it still might change a bit. We'll see. I hope I can still like it even though I'm not going to love it. I am very ok with unisex fragrances, and it's clear that how we experience perfume is subjectiv, but despite all the sweetness, I find Liam Grey to be a masculine fragrance. There is a masculine note, that is pulsing through so obviously, I can not ignore it. Anyway, it is a good perfume.

I am surprised that I didn't see Khadlaj's Empire Victor here, as you have been raving about this fragrance too, although it is quite new. I have a question about this fragrance. First off, I own it and adore it, but it wasn't love at first sniff, but your description was sooo intriguing , I bought it. And your description was spot on. You are one of the reviewers whom I trust implicitly. Another content creator I trust just as much is Cee Chronicles with her reviews of ME scents. Last week, she reviewed Victor and described it as a vanilla bomb with a lemon cookie vibe and she did not detect any oud. You both love the fragrance, but are describing it entirely differently with different notes. So this has obviously been reformulated, yes? Which is the new version? Based on the comments in her video, it would appear that I am not alone in my confusion. Since Khadlaj works with you, I thought you would be the best person to ask!

Takes me to Lala Land... Rare Passion, it makes me feel things I should not with a perfume (get a room Sim!). So Victor was not here coz It has been reformulated. Hey my hun! I use the decant bottles which can be pumped into. So i take off the sprayer cap of my perfume bottle, stick the decant (atomizer) bottle and just pump the perfume in. I think its so much easier that way.

Um, I'm that one person in the world that doesn't like Gris Charnel. I fact, it hated it so much I had to scrub it! Must try Empress, I love citrus, and woody too, sounds amazing 😊Casablanca is lovely, reminds me of the initial incarnation of All About Eve from years ago.

Hi my beautiful Hun, thanks for this wonderful video, love it so much. I somehow forgot about Rare Passion this winter, perhaps because I put some of the newer perfumes in front ( Rare Passion is always upstairs in the wardrobe as I consider this a perfect magical 10 out of 10 forever love) as soon as you mentioned it ,on this dark oh so cold day of 8 degrees, I moved the perfumes so it would be back in the front and sprayed it and OMG PERFUME COMA happened to me. I could not think ,just smell, it has become even more magical ( do I say this every time? If so forgive me but I actually feel it has become stronger and even more magical, impossible you say 🤣, I hear you ). How can one perfume have so much magic and still be also so wearable ( by this I mean I adore Amethyst and it sends me into a perfume coma but it is not something you could or would wear every day) but Rare Passion you could wear this ( with consequences, as you mentioned , about Ali's words 😅) every day everywhere and no one would object ( unless the beloved becomes too passionate in public 😅). But seriously that juice is magical and again I cannot find the words to describe this scent to someone. I tried for my best friend who has blind bought 4 of the perfumes I love and I could not find the right words no matter what as the notes do not do its magic justice, I feel. So with you on this perfume, my angel. Liam is a big love especially in muggy warm humid weather, a true life saver for me. I adore the scent profile as to me ( or in my fragrance wardrobe ) is unusual but always gets compliments even from the delivery guy who on a warm day delivered parcels and asked me what I was wearing, his wife's birthday was coming up. He said how expensive is this, she would adore this and he was amazed at the price as it was about $60 Oz dollars then and he bought it for her. He said he loves it so much on her. I do not have any of the others, sadly. I would one day most definitely like to own one of the beloved Khadlaj perfumes , sadly there are only a few in Oz so far and I am on my no purchase rule for a while until later when I can get a Khadlaj perfume that I know will be a ten out of 10. Funny thing happened, Gerry finally started wearing the Middle Eastern scents I bought him , one in particular, and said ( he had forgotten what I told him about maceration ) how different it smells now and that he truly loves it. But being the way things sometimes go, it has been discontinued so I was very lucky to find the last one in Oz ( wrote to several suppliers and shops) , they found it just the day before I wrote to them and they offered me another one for such a low price to go with it for me and I am thinking of getting that one. Sentimental reasons as the name is Summer 69 and the scent profile is different and unique and I would love to own this but I would not have done this except for this offer but still have not pulled the trigger but have bought the Desert Oud by Nabeel for Gerry. OK I must be brave and go and have a shower. Why brave, I feel soooo cold I do not wish to get undressed , only I know the warmth of the shower will help the Fibro pains. Summer 69 is from Naseem and a water based perfume, I think it was released with a series of scents but the name alone intrigued me. 1969, the year Barry first visited Berlin, his and Paul's hit Love Is Love was released that year. 💐 Power , Peace ✌ and so on. Groovy, baby, the perfume sounds interesting with suede and other interesting notes of summer and visions of stunning Barry and Paul are in my head. 😅 I had to answer a call just after I sprayed Rare Passion and wanted to say, excuse me, can I call you back as I am in a perfume coma 😄 🤣. Not sure they would have understood. You and I, my gorgeous Angel, we understand THAT feeling especially about Rare Passion 🤗❤. I bought Gerry another perfume today as it sounded great for him. I will steal the bottle when its empty 😂. Mastermind Rouge is the name, red bottle and red little gems and gold. If he does not like it I feel I would wear it, but I feel he will enjoy this. Oh no. I have not tied Verte Malachite unfortunately, so I do not have a point of comparison. I can say that it is herbaceous green, with loads of citrus and then a wood base. I hope that helps ❤ It is better to get either Ebhar or Casablanca. They are similar but not the same. But because I am obsessed with that DNA, I have both ❤

I've had my eye on Khadlaj Prestige Empress for some time but the availability in the US is very limited. It's on Amazon for $57 USD which I consider pricey for a blind buy Middle Eastern perfume. I also checked the Khadlaj website and unfortunately the shipping to the US is more expensive than the actual perfume. Hopefully the price on this line will drop as it becomes more available in my market. Thank you for the video!!!
I haven't smelled either. I did get kismet magic (formally kismet angel) and it's one of my favorites. It smells like chocolate, cinnamon, booze, and magic.
It depends on what you like and are looking for in a scent, as they are both very different. I'm not really keen on Casablanca and have never understood the hype. Now Khamrah? Just wow. 10/10

One hundred percent yes! Although they are the same genre, they are different from each other. I would suggest getting one and if you like it then get the other coz you will know for sure if you like the DNA

I like how you describe the fragrances, but our styles are completely opposite. You like the fresh and fruit and tropical, and I love the dark, the heavy and the Gothic. Will you ever make a dark Middle Eastern list?

It gives me a headache, and sadly, it's not worth the headache for me. I don't think it smells particularly great. I don't get the gourmand, caramel, or apple pie that everyone speaks of. I get green apple with a note in the back that's very sharp and 'perfumey', which is the best way I can explain it. That hurts my head, lol
Oh no thats so sad. So for the longest time, I avoided Casablanca coz I hate the Apple note in perfumes. It makes me gag. But then one day Casa was on discount and lo and behold Sim bought it. So weird that I don't find it too sweet and that apple just disappears in a bit. It is insane how different perfumes smell on everyone no? ❤
I must say it is the same for me. My husband and daughter, who are very patient with my fragrances, find it repulsive. There is no vanilla, no coconut. It is extremely woody, quite plasticky and with citrus notes. 😕 I don't find that it matches any descriptions on youtube.
Musamam started out smelling quite animatic to me. Give it some time and you’ll discover the beauty. Leave it for a month or two and come back to it. It becomes so beautiful, unique, an all round smooth blend… very opulent too.
I really don't like Gris charnel, both extrait and the original. I always get headaches from them. Musamam white for me is also in the same family and I can't stand ii too😮. Just adding this comment to higlight that scents are very subjective.
I didn't like Liam too, very repellent and cheap smelling for my taste that's why I haven't bought Musamam white. Indeed our noses are very subjective to perfumes.
I don’t wear perfumes for compliments, but I’m so surprised that the only compliment I have ever received is for Nasheet. And I have about 12 middle eastern perfumes.

did you have to macerate it? Mine was produced 2 months ago and I'm not getting many of the notes I was hoping for - no fig at all and not much when it comes to tea. Right now it's very similar to Versace Cristal Noir (just a bit more gentle) I used to have a few years ago. I hope it will change a bit as I am not interested in Crystal Noir anymore 😀

I am very ok with unisex fragrances, and it's clear that how we experience perfume is subjectiv, but despite all the sweetness, I find Liam Grey to be a masculine fragrance. There is a masculine note, that is pulsing through so obviously, I can not ignore it. Anyway, it is a good perfume.

First off, I own it and adore it, but it wasn't love at first sniff, but your description was sooo intriguing , I bought it. And your description was spot on. You are one of the reviewers whom I trust implicitly. Another content creator I trust just as much is Cee Chronicles with her reviews of ME scents. Last week, she reviewed Victor and described it as a vanilla bomb with a lemon cookie vibe and she did not detect any oud. You both love the fragrance, but are describing it entirely differently with different notes. So this has obviously been reformulated, yes? Which is the new version? Based on the comments in her video, it would appear that I am not alone in my confusion. Since Khadlaj works with you, I thought you would be the best person to ask!

I use the decant bottles which can be pumped into. So i take off the sprayer cap of my perfume bottle, stick the decant (atomizer) bottle and just pump the perfume in. I think its so much easier that way.

Um, I'm that one person in the world that doesn't like Gris Charnel. I fact, it hated it so much I had to scrub it! Must try Empress, I love citrus, and woody too, sounds amazing 😊Casablanca is lovely, reminds me of the initial incarnation of All About Eve from years ago.

Hi my beautiful Hun, thanks for this wonderful video, love it so much. I somehow forgot about Rare Passion this winter, perhaps because I put some of the newer perfumes in front ( Rare Passion is always upstairs in the wardrobe as I consider this a perfect magical 10 out of 10 forever love) as soon as you mentioned it ,on this dark oh so cold day of 8 degrees, I moved the perfumes so it would be back in the front and sprayed it and OMG PERFUME COMA happened to me. I could not think ,just smell, it has become even more magical ( do I say this every time? If so forgive me but I actually feel it has become stronger and even more magical, impossible you say 🤣, I hear you ). How can one perfume have so much magic and still be also so wearable ( by this I mean I adore Amethyst and it sends me into a perfume coma but it is not something you could or would wear every day) but Rare Passion you could wear this ( with consequences, as you mentioned , about Ali's words 😅) every day everywhere and no one would object ( unless the beloved becomes too passionate in public 😅). But seriously that juice is magical and again I cannot find the words to describe this scent to someone. I tried for my best friend who has blind bought 4 of the perfumes I love and I could not find the right words no matter what as the notes do not do its magic justice, I feel. So with you on this perfume, my angel. Liam is a big love especially in muggy warm humid weather, a true life saver for me. I adore the scent profile as to me ( or in my fragrance wardrobe ) is unusual but always gets compliments even from the delivery guy who on a warm day delivered parcels and asked me what I was wearing, his wife's birthday was coming up. He said how expensive is this, she would adore this and he was amazed at the price as it was about $60 Oz dollars then and he bought it for her. He said he loves it so much on her.
I do not have any of the others, sadly. I would one day most definitely like to own one of the beloved Khadlaj perfumes , sadly there are only a few in Oz so far and I am on my no purchase rule for a while until later when I can get a Khadlaj perfume that I know will be a ten out of 10. Funny thing happened, Gerry finally started wearing the Middle Eastern scents I bought him , one in particular, and said ( he had forgotten what I told him about maceration ) how different it smells now and that he truly loves it. But being the way things sometimes go, it has been discontinued so I was very lucky to find the last one in Oz ( wrote to several suppliers and shops) , they found it just the day before I wrote to them and they offered me another one for such a low price to go with it for me and I am thinking of getting that one. Sentimental reasons as the name is Summer 69 and the scent profile is different and unique and I would love to own this but I would not have done this except for this offer but still have not pulled the trigger but have bought the Desert Oud by Nabeel for Gerry.
OK I must be brave and go and have a shower. Why brave, I feel soooo cold I do not wish to get undressed , only I know the warmth of the shower will help the Fibro pains.

Summer 69 is from Naseem and a water based perfume, I think it was released with a series of scents but the name alone intrigued me. 1969, the year Barry first visited Berlin, his and Paul's hit Love Is Love was released that year. 💐 Power , Peace ✌ and so on. Groovy, baby, the perfume sounds interesting with suede and other interesting notes of summer and visions of stunning Barry and Paul are in my head. 😅
I had to answer a call just after I sprayed Rare Passion and wanted to say, excuse me, can I call you back as I am in a perfume coma 😄 🤣. Not sure they would have understood. You and I, my gorgeous Angel, we understand THAT feeling especially about Rare Passion 🤗❤.
I bought Gerry another perfume today as it sounded great for him. I will steal the bottle when its empty 😂. Mastermind Rouge is the name, red bottle and red little gems and gold. If he does not like it I feel I would wear it, but I feel he will enjoy this.

Oh no. I have not tied Verte Malachite unfortunately, so I do not have a point of comparison. I can say that it is herbaceous green, with loads of citrus and then a wood base. I hope that helps ❤

I've had my eye on Khadlaj Prestige Empress for some time but the availability in the US is very limited. It's on Amazon for $57 USD which I consider pricey for a blind buy Middle Eastern perfume. I also checked the Khadlaj website and unfortunately the shipping to the US is more expensive than the actual perfume. Hopefully the price on this line will drop as it becomes more available in my market. Thank you for the video!!!

I haven't smelled either. I did get kismet magic (formally kismet angel) and it's one of my favorites. It smells like chocolate, cinnamon, booze, and magic.
It depends on what you like and are looking for in a scent, as they are both very different. I'm not really keen on Casablanca and have never understood the hype. Now Khamrah? Just wow. 10/10

Did you give it time to develop? Initially you feel a clash, but that resolves over time, I noticed.
I agree with @adonce babe ❤ Just give it a month to macerate. When I first received mine, it was a little weird but macerated very quickly. Like 2-3 weeks if I remember correctly ❤
I only let it sit for a couple of months, but now I wish I maybe should have given it a bit more time.

One hundred percent yes! Although they are the same genre, they are different from each other. I would suggest getting one and if you like it then get the other coz you will know for sure if you like the DNA

Is Casablanca headache inducing or strong
It gives me a headache, and sadly, it's not worth the headache for me. I don't think it smells particularly great. I don't get the gourmand, caramel, or apple pie that everyone speaks of. I get green apple with a note in the back that's very sharp and 'perfumey', which is the best way I can explain it. That hurts my head, lol

So for the longest time, I avoided Casablanca coz I hate the Apple note in perfumes. It makes me gag. But then one day Casa was on discount and lo and behold Sim bought it. So weird that I don't find it too sweet and that apple just disappears in a bit. It is insane how different perfumes smell on everyone no? ❤

I wish I got all the loveliness in Musamam. I don't. The sandalwood smells like pickle juice and that's all I get. No coconut at all.
Babe you might have got a bad batch. It is supposed to be a spicy coconut vanilla perfume. Is there anyway you can return it?
I must say it is the same for me. My husband and daughter, who are very patient with my fragrances, find it repulsive. There is no vanilla, no coconut. It is extremely woody, quite plasticky and with citrus notes. 😕 I don't find that it matches any descriptions on youtube.
Musamam started out smelling quite animatic to me. Give it some time and you’ll discover the beauty. Leave it for a month or two and come back to it. It becomes so beautiful, unique, an all round smooth blend… very opulent too.
My nose does not smell like your nose, i know every ones nose smell perfumes different, greetings from the Netherlands
I really don't like Gris charnel, both extrait and the original. I always get headaches from them. Musamam white for me is also in the same family and I can't stand ii too😮. Just adding this comment to higlight that scents are very subjective.
I didn't like Liam too, very repellent and cheap smelling for my taste that's why I haven't bought Musamam white. Indeed our noses are very subjective to perfumes.
I don’t wear perfumes for compliments, but I’m so surprised that the only compliment I have ever received is for Nasheet. And I have about 12 middle eastern perfumes.
Yea Nasheet would do that! It is so uniquely intriguing. I would ask a person what they were wearing if I smelled it on anyone ️♥️
