Uncle is so sweet at the end when he says it is an honor, he feels like the luckiest guy on earth.

My journey into traditional stone masonry lead me to your native calling. Born to the land of Hawaii I now live by the sea on the East Cost where we use many rocks to create our space in the world.

Similar to Japanese techniques building wall and castle foundation. also around Indonesia and Malaysia, the 'Candi kethek', candi cetho in Indonesia and Candi batu pahat in Malaysia is example of austronesian connection. the 'umah joglo' in Java very similar to Fiji and Hawaiian traditional house. but Javanese have traditional roof tiles made from clays, similar to made pottery. and stone wall and gate.

It is an altar for prayer and giving thanks to honor our ancestors. Notice the green leis placed upon it? A lei fashioned from nature used in a performance is either floated out to sea, placed on an altar of thanks, or given back to the land. It is never discarded. A lei in an endless circle signifies eternity. When shared a lei denotes eternal friendship…eternal love…

Tu iluna You know, there are several sorts of hammers, this is not a carpenter one. In France we use to work with similar of this one, we call it a “ “ têtu “. And look, it works fine !😉

Great mason for sure, but he is missing Jesus the only one who forgives sin and offers eternal life for free.
