Fjell Unikorn Gummy O-Ring Mount (Merro60 PCB) - JWK Pewters on Aluminum Plate ASMR

Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians!
The Fjell is back once more for like the billionth sound test. This is the first test back after letting Mr. ‪@alceray‬ borrow it and work his magic with his patented bump on mod. Big thanks to him again!

The hollowness is completely gone and the typing feels way more uniform. When I used to use poron gasket bits, they would flatten out over time and the board would just get stiffer and the case ping would return so I'd have to replace the gasket bits every few months. This is a way more permanent solution since the bump ons retain their shape and softness.
Finally changing the switch variation up and not just using mx browns lol. The Pewters were a nice change of pace. I actually had Pewters way back in like 2022 ish but I sold them just because they had so much leaf tick. In the current day, we now have the innovative leaf shroud mod which has more or less fixed the problems I had with the switch before. The switches themselves are very smooth, slightly more tactile than an mx brown, but don't have the typical cherry scratch. They have a decently high-pitch top out that I think I've done a good job of evening out with how I tuned the switches.

yea I can kinda hear that too now that you mentioned. the gain might be too high in this recording too and my mic picks up a lot of high end
