I absolutely love this blue color they do but could only get it in a M here in australia. Also got an XL in red and for some reason they do this great pattern on the material but only in red! May get a L as well. So happy to have these now…wanted one literally for decades and finally got around to it. I have a lot of bags and technically don’t need them but they will be a handy option for storing outdoors gear and travel when I don’t want to use a suitcase…
Yeah I think the core blue, yellow, and red are really nice colours for the duffels too! I have far too many bags but they were handy when we moved, so they earned their spot haha
Looking at buying my boys one of these each so they have a good quality bag to go off and hopefully have many adventures with, a bit like how some people get a watch or something useful and high quality for their 18th birthday.
Do you think it's too big to use as a gym bag when you're not out on adventures? Thinking about buying it and using it as a gym bag for kickboxing gear when I'm not out on adventures.
I don't know if I would use the large for that, it is a really big duffel. The medium may be better for the dual use, I would worry the large being too big and not fitting in lockers and having a lot of extra space.
Yes, the backpack straps can be removed on the Base Camp models. But North Face has some newer duffel bags that may not have remove-able backpack straps.

I think this is a great idea, I really like this duffels! I did a video showing how durable they are: ruclips.net/video/znTOvSr-PRw/видео.html

I think the small might be the right size for a gym bag. I have that size and use it as a weekender
Great content!
Thanks!
Lol, 28 inches long not 48.
I’m looking to buy this bag to carry my skiing equipment. Are the backpack straps removable?

how much weight can it hold when u max it out 50 pound or top 60 i need ine for travel
I'm not sure, it would depend on what you put in it. You could definitely fit a lot in the large though.
Would have been nice to see you wearing it on your back
How long? Incorrect.
Can the zips be padlocked ? Thinking about using it for airports.
You probably could with the right sized lock, it is might be a small lock though.
how heavy is the bag when it's full?
Depends what you fill it with, it can hold a lot of gear or clothes so it can get quite heavy.
When it’s full of feathers it’s quite light, but when it’s full of bricks is surprisingly heavy.
How,s the bag size
Its quite big, but still comfy on my back and doesn't look too oversized
