Me personally growing up I was big on anime dragonball, dbz , inuyasha, yu yu hakusho most of it on toonami/adult swim until I started watching subs online when naruto first dropped and death note. But back then it definitely wasn’t as popular. It was similar to saying you watch wwf/wwe
