Blood sacrifices, scapegoating, misogyny, racism, slavery, eternal punishment for good people, murdering animals and people with floods, fires and pestilence, murdering babies to make a point, genocide of entire populations including unborn babies, punishment for thought crimes as equal to actions, etc etc etc The Bible, Torah and Koran are exactly what they appear to be. Fables from an old, brutal and unethical time. Just like all fairytales. Certainly no moral person could read this books and agree with this. We must rid ourselves of this magical thinking and deal with the world rationally and humanely. The old “carrot and the stick” afterlife employed to threaten people into subservience to a church hierarchy, really needs to end. Magical thinking has to be replaced with common sense, rational thought and evidence based reasoning. That would be the end of cults, conspiracy nonsense, racist beliefs and tv evangelists ripping off senior citizens!
