- Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI and to our last episode of season three !!! It's so bittersweet to end this season and we are so thankful for all the ways the Lord has moved and will continue to move in season four ! In this week's episode our host, Ally Yost, picks right back up from last week as she continues to read through the book of James. We read and talk through the last three chapters and discuss topics such as worldly living, submitting and repenting to God, and to trust the path He's laid out for us.

"Sin brainwashes us." This gave me Holy Spirit goose bumps. That's one anointed sentence.
The verses you read speak to me. It's sad because I'm almost all of the bad things mentioned in james 3 and 4 but it's also good because God is making me aware of my evil thoughts and ways. My life in the past 4 years were the most sinful I'd been and now I'm reaping the consequences but God is so good and faithful and gracious and merciful He still forgave me. Pray for me guys that my faith will be strengthened in my current season because it's so difficult for me rn and I'm being bombarded with enemies lies and triggers left and right. Also, God bless you Ally. I pray that your podcast and other content will reach out more people and lead them to Christ ❤ i'm from the Philippines and you and Ashley and your guys' testimonies really encourage me in my walk with Christ. 💕

I deleted my social media last night. I really fought and made every excuse to not do it. Im letting go, it was an idol. God wasnt nagging me but he always kept it at bay ... and I
opened the gates and let him in. I am faithful that out of this God is going to turn this for good. Because its hard ...super hard. But, that just makes it that much more sealed that its the right thing to do. God doesnt want us glued to our phones...im so so so guilty. And Im asking him to give me grace for fighting so hard.
I’m right there with you sister! I’ve recently deleted social media myself and mannn it is so freeing to give it all to God and truly live life for Christ - instead of sharing pics to the world.

When you said : let’s take communion - I didn’t have bread in front of me but I had water and without knowing, my husband brought me a piece of bread! I was like wow that’s from God, thank you Lord! It was a great episode I loved to share the communion with you, thank you! 💗

You all don't understand how broken ive been, I am 15 years old and struggling to live a holy life. Recently ive wanted to show my body off because thats what all the other girls at school are doing and I know I have hurt God with my actions . I didnt want to live anymore I felt like I was going insane and in a constant cycle. Please if you can pray for me.. this has been a great help by the grace of God and I pray that I can grow in a true relationship with him❤

ITS CRAZY how I have just learned what a communion was as a new believer today and I have made a goal to take notes about videos like this and you mentioned COMMUNION so I just believe that God has planned all this and its amazing!

This was my first time EVER taking communion so goood 💕 I don’t really know what it is I have heard a few things about it but I trusted Ally that it was a good thing considering the Lord but it on her heart. I am going to do some research on it with the lord now tho lol 😜

I absolutely love love love your podcast and I love how Jesus just radiates in you
I grew up in Christianity but recently I have drawn away from God because of influence of friends
One day I started seeing some Christian videos recommended for me on RUclips and TikTok and you were one of them!!
I grew closer to Jesus and when I found out you had a podcast I got so excited and started watching every episode I had missed (it was season 1) I was so glad to be blessed with your podcast until "friendship" influence got to me again at school and I fell back into sin and I was in a really deep whole and I feel like I hit rock bottom.
Most people would tell me that there was no way cuz I'm only 13 and that I was to young to feel that
But I could spiritually and physically feel that my life (Jesus) was not inside me because I did not want Him even though my solid yearned for Him.
I kept trying to figure it out since I'm in a Christian school and I thought that I had mostly Christian friends
I've been sulking all summer because I wanted to get closer to Jesus again so when I rediscovered your podcast like two weeks ago I was overjoyed! I think the episode that hit me tho most was the one about repentance
What I'm saying is that community does matter and Ally I'm so grateful that Jesus led me to find such a good community and a woman I can grow in Christ with.
You are such a blessing Ally and I wish I can just give you a big hug! God bless you and guide you and thank you for these episodes because they really help me especially the Scripture reading ones

God is good, If the Lord wants me in the situation where I'm in then there is nothing I can do but to accept it.
Please do more scripture reads and dissecting of the word next season. It’s like a girly bible study together. It’s always nice to hear a perspective from someone else.

Almond milk does that because it’s processed rubbish, not real milk. It’s woke milk substitute. Jersey whole milk belongs in coffee, preferably unhomogenised cream from the top.
Guys I hear a voice tell me to do the randomist thing but I'm scared becuase idk if it comes from God or not because I don't want to disobey Him please help but I keep thinking it's just me overthinking that God would want me to do but it's been making me frustrated sometimes bc I dont want God to think I'm disobeying Him, I truly don't know😭
Know that God will never tell you to do something that goes against his character. If you have discernment and believe in your heart that what you are being told would please God, then it is from Him. But also just pray about clarity in these things too, for Him to reveal to you that this is actually what he calls you to do. I hope this helps!
