Im so glad that I found this video tutorial. Most of the videos I look at are showing the Sihouette Studio upgraded. Thanks for posting the basics. Also just a side note... I am in the process of trying to decide which machine to get. Like most people, I am deciding between the Silhouette and the Cricut. I was a little scared in terms of the learning curve on the Silhouette (most videos say it is harder to learn) so I was leaning toward a Cricut because it has the dial on it. BUT, because I was able to play around with the free software on Silhouette, it helped me make a decision to switch and go with the Silhouette.

hi my silhoutte is cutting too soon it's cutting on the mat. i think it's to do with the border do u know what the problem is please
