*Mike Serot* In a way, shows the colors of the atmosphere of both shows in this crossover. Even the crew of Miami worked alongside with the crew of Las Vegas.
In the essay book Investigating CSI they said there was an intentional color scheme for the three shows: green for Vegas because of the casino money, orange for Miami because of the sun and heat of the beach, and blue for New York I think because of the more urban environment.
Two great things about this scene. One Caine and Mac work with each other not against each other, and the second is this Horatio line. "Yes but you have not executed. Since '76" (It's just the way it's delivered)
Nice Scene... In the beginning the lights over Caine is more clean and bright, Mac is dark and blue. When Caine give one more step, he became dark and blue, what's mean he enter in Mac's territory!
I like watching miami csi its my favorite programs l am glad l watch it right though it was the best t.v.programsl have ever seen and speaking of the show l could not watch any other show l have watched from the beginnining and watch from the very end thank you so much from tina tamakaha
TheDarkarrow7 He got pissy about the spinoffs so he didn’t appear on them, that’s why it was Marg Helgenberger that met David Caruso’s H when they did the cross over episode for that one.
pedro ulises Pues ellos llegaron a un acuerdo de atrapar juntos al criminal, aunque al principio mac estaba sorprendido en la manera como horatio se le aparece inesperadamente a mac
The DVD commentary for the episode had Carol Mendelsohn say she had to learn how to write authentic New York City dialogue for the episode, because as a Los Angeleno she's used to saying "I'm so pleased to make your acquaintance" while in the Northeast everyone says "Who's this!?"
"Mac , I have..a sixteen year old girl..who is suddenly without both parents I... have promised her peace of mind" you can't say no to Horatio , you just can't say no. Lol
It Is David Caruso, Emily Procter, Rory Cochrane, Adam Rodriguez, Khandi Alexander, Kim Delaney, Gary Sinise, Melina Kanakaredes, Carmine Giovinazzo, Hill Harper And Vanessa Ferlito.
I love everything Gary Sinise has ever done, yet I have never viewed one episode of CSI NY. Why? Because I'm a real dumb guy. Binge watching starting tonight.
You know the messed up part. Both of them know 'Nam vets with Mac's actor as a bonus playing one. In case you don't get it. Mac's actor Gary Sinise was Lieutenant Dan Taylor and Forrest Gump was part of his Platoon. Whilst Horatio's actor David Caruso got his start in First Blood, where he played a rookie cop part of a manhunt for one John J. Rambo.
How realistic is it that two Crime Scene Investigators can make such a deal? Would it not be the two AGs of Florida and New York only legally able to do that?
One Boring Bastard Yes, this episode introduced the new spinoff. I liked the way they gave the New York one a grey blue filtered look and Miami had the graduated orange filtered look and Mac is bathed in blue and when H enters the room he is shot with a warming filter - nice touch.
"My name is caine. Miami , CSI "
Wow....
That was powerful
My hobby is Caine. Coke, party
Gotta love the lighting. Mac is lit in blue and H in orange. It's so cool
*Mike Serot* In a way, shows the colors of the atmosphere of both shows in this crossover. Even the crew of Miami worked alongside with the crew of Las Vegas.
@@JaimeD. yeah. The CSI Miami pilot is one of my favorite episodes. The crossovers were always fun to watch

Even Mack is annoyed by it, butt he understands that other wheels turn the machine.
Epic Moment on TV
Caine has the some cold deliver
Mac has the grit that sends shivers up your spine
Let's see
Miami orange
New York blue
Las Vegas green
Nice Scene...

Chuck2k11 For sure it is a great production detail!
And mac tyler enter miami and his colour keeps with caine in future mean either he or new York doesn't dark and blue

GREAT introduction for Gary Sinise's character.
This was an awesome episode it would've been crazy if William Peterson aka Gil Grissom guest stared as well.

CSI Miami was my favorite
Loved both these shows. At the time, Caine hasn't step foot in NY since NYPD Blue.
It Is David Caruso, Emily Procter, Rory Cochrane, Adam Rodriguez, Khandi Alexander, Kim Delaney, Gary Sinise, Melina Kanakaredes, Carmine Giovinazzo, Hill Harper And Vanessa Ferlito.
