Awesome work Robert. Really loving the videos. Just wish I'd found them when I was first starting with Archicad in my building design course. Govetts Street, The Ponds? That's less than a KM from my place. Sweet :)
Hi first of all thanks so much for all of ur videos. I want to ask u : I’m working on my Mac Pro 2014 I’m working on big project but I have issue that the archcad when I build a lot of building the program start to be so slow when use the 3D and when I want to take the elevations each elevation takes 10 min to I can save it after . I just wanna know if that normal coz is big project or there’s something I did wrong coz I’m working all in one layer I think and if there anything that speed the 3D like I don’t wanna show the materials in 3D until that I change it like revit the 3D is white scream until u ask to show the wall material and the other materials.
Hi, this is very common. Mostly, objects like people, trees, and cars (even excessive furniture) are unnecessary in archicad (and often make the render look less real) as well as dramatically slowing down the processing. I would suggest using these sparingly (if at all). Instead use billboards if needed for animation (or pos-production photoshop additions) for stills.
