Great video and teaching. I can’t wait to try the step drill. I appreciate that unlike a lot of other traditional swing coaches you say it’s okay to lift the front heal and to bend the lead arm a bit.
Great video, your swing quest has helped me improve my game a lot this off season, if there’s anyone’s swing I can have it’s definitely yours, the tempo, the power is phenomenal
Good stuff! yes had a recent lesson and used most of the drills involved and they really do help with driving accuracy and distance. I'll incorporate the step move and practice the whoosh drill too. I'm averaging about 240-250 yards on drives and would like to get that up to 270-280 distance 👍Also love your location!
This is a really good consolidation of driver swing tips. And just wow what a driving range also I've been following your tips for a while and I'm really hitting the best drives in my entire life. Also a couple weeks ago I acquired the Ping g430 Max 10K and I now know why you love that club so much I wish I had tried it sooner by far the best driver I've ever owned anyway thanks for all your great videos and your team is awesome. Anyway, hello from Nevada, take care.
Great advice as always. A pro once told me to do the swish drill (but with the driver head on) before teeing off at a course with no range. Twenty swings trying to get that swish higher pitched and more to the left (as a right hander) would have me ready for my first swing. Years later I have to say he was right and the practice made me longer off the tee too.
Great video. Padraig Harrington talks about decelerating “putting the breaks on” at the point of impact to produce more club head speed. He calls it the Tommy Fleetwood drill; swing fast, stop hard. Is that good advice or just confusing for us mid handicappers?
Great tips! Although, I do feel like the "Step" in the step drill should be done earlier (in the backswing, between club parallel & at the top). It's how it's done in swing speed drills but is also better for sequencing.
What’s the deal with Quest golf? I know Pete & Rick used to work out of the facility During open qualifier Pete would be introduced from “quest golf” But you can’t find anything online about it now
At some point you must realize that you are a freak of nature. Effortlessly smash the ball over 300 yards it’s just not normal. If it was raining I would have guessed Skeggy.
Tyle się chłop nagadał, a nie powiedział nic nowego, czego nie mówi od kilku lat. U mnie to i tak nie działa, jak nie umiałem drivera lata temu, tak nadal nie umiem 😂😂
The problem with the “step drill” is: Your head moved toward the target as much as your lead foot! 😳 Moving one’s head toward the target during the downswing is my biggest swing flaw with the driver (… like many others) 🙄 “Keep your head still” - Jack Nicklaus, “Golf My Way” Good stuff, Peter A great summary of how to hit driver 👍🏻
Ahhh, its a hard life Finchy!! Serving your students well, putting them first by going out of your way to find the ultimate backdrop to demonstrate the driver swing!!😂😂🏌️🏌️👌👌
Love the nostalgic finchy coaching content! Also loving the upgraded backdrop. Tiny upgrade from trafford golf center 😂
A small amount 😂
If there is anyone on RUclips that I will listen to regarding driver technique it’s Mr Finch.
Thank you very much
When both Bryan Bros are in awe of his drives it says a lot.
Definitely
What a view.
As always, thanks for the free golf tips Pete!
This was fantastic! I liked how you went a little more in depth with your key points to drive home understanding to your viewers. Well done!
Wow! What a location to practice your swing! Great lesson! ☀️
Great points. Thanks Peter. 👍
Thanks Pete, they are fantastic drills! Love the Woosh drill!!!!

This video is perfectly timed, my driver is letting me down and this is pinpointing the areas I need to look into. Thank you

A golf video that’s not selling me Takomo irons? I will watch.
Always great content
Love the video. As soon As it stops raining I'm out in the garden practicing all of that. Oh a Happy new year to you, and your team
Where the heck is this course? That is an absolutely beautiful view!
Pinnacle Point Golf Course, Mosel Bay South Africa - a real gem
Great content as always. Gives lots of drills for improvement.👍
Another banger 😎

Beautiful swing and easy PW/9 iron into that Pezula par 5 😍🥰😘
The whoosh drill is a new one for me. Will definitely give that a try.
Pete, are you doing any lessons/coaching from your studio ?
The whoosh drill is an interesting one I haven't seen before. Definitely going to try that out

Lovely Jubbly… 👍👍
I love GOLF

The "woosh" drill... I like it
I struggle with shifting my hips rather than rotating so not sure if the step drill will work for me.
The ol’ block fade is my nemesis.
so pretty at @04:00 minutes, nice swing
Enjoying Pezula in Knysna Peter?
Great place
@@swingquestgolf if you have time try playing at Pinnacle Point in Mossel Bay. Amazing course
There may be a future for you in coaching if this whole RUclips thing doesn't work out. Enjoy all your content Mr Finch and team

Cheers Pete. Gonna hit some bombs today on a frosty Mancunian morning
Sitting here when it’s minus 3 outside makes me jealous AF of your location 😂
I still watch these videos even tho I use Liam Robinsons method
Can you find some prettier locations for these videos please
When you go on holiday and some bloke is always in the way of the view!.
At some point you must realize that you are a freak of nature. Effortlessly smash the ball over 300 yards it’s just not normal. If it was raining I would have guessed Skeggy.
I think I know who Pete is signing with 🤭
how many videos have you worn that shirt in now? can we get a budget increase?
💪💪🏌🏌

When's the taylormade deal? image is of a TaylorMade driver and you also name 2 TaylorMade club staff players 🤔😉
How do hacks gain lessons yardage? That title hurts my brain....
Taylormade driver in the graphic. Clue to who he’s signing with?
All will be revealed soon
Pretty shit view there Pete😂

Congrats on the equipment deal @peterfinch
