Amanda Dubois was my lawyer, who has not only failed to submit the obtained discovery to me against my explicit written requests, she actually even failed to notify the judge about the Respondent being in continues contempt to court orders. Lost a substantial amount to me on the already negotiated settlement. Stay away, I regret hiring her; lazy, unscrupulous and overbilling
Angela Uzun I hate to generalize, but that was my experience too. And it wasn't for lack of transparency in my part. My lawyer missed a $40k decision. I caught it reading wife's divorce for women book provided to her by her lawyer. The lawyer representing me had to recuse himself (which was appropriate), but I was charged for the face time that led up to that, despite nothing being produced/ arrived at. Something he missed, and I had a nagging feeling about, but went with was child support. I'm going to over pay by 50% when I go away for work and miss my weeks with the split custody. Changes to the separation agreement because of typos cost even more money. Jeez man, we're fodder. Fortunately, I've been able to recommend a few men NOT to go there.
