so wonderful to listen to this sweet quarter tone piano music by Alois Haba
Delicate and nuanced. Hits all the right notes at the wrong time or hits all the wrong notes at the right time etc. Balanced.
One year later. Still listening....a really wonderful piece. Masterpiece? Dontknow but it is engaging.

I would really love to see the performance to that as well! The score is reminiscent of Ives' piece for two pianos, would be very interesting to see it done by just two hands.
Unlike the great majority of the other quarter-performances I have seen on RUclips, this one is explicitly listed as being for quarter-tone piano rather than 2 pianos. I wonder what they had to do to get their hands on the quarter-tone monster piano?
And this one has a distinctly different style and harmonization from the quarter tone (and other) compositions of Ivan Wyschnegradsky.

@@dominiquemanchon9914 Too bad it isn't available any more, but I did see a couple of videos of somebody experimenting on (not playing a particular whole piece) an upright quarter-tone piano. It had 2+1/2 manuals like the monster grand, but it managed to fit into a normal space by having narrow hammers (these were visible in at least one of the videos) and presumably never more than 2 strings per note -- you would have reduced power this way, but for solo playing in a normal house room, or even small auditorium, that would be fine.
