I grew up with the music of the Heritage Singers. You all would come to the Hilo Seventh-Day Adventist church in the 70's and my sister and I would be so excited! Thank you for your music over the years. It helped shape the person I am today. I just sang Morning Prayer for my grandmother's memorial. Aloha.

This song and this album from 1976 is my all time favorite from the Heritage Singers. I am also enjoying the Heritage II selections on RUclips. What a blessing to have these precious melodies as part of my growing up in the Church. Thanks again and Bless You!!

The answer is very simple, they have compromised the faith and simple music they received and by accepting worldly music they have made no distinction between worldly music and heavenly music . Similar thing has happened in the SDA churches everywhere. It's sad to see as a young SDA

These are the kinds of songs i wana hear when ill turn on my radio here in Washington DC area 91.9 WGTS station.. its sad that if i turn on my radio on Sabbath, and i hear a rock beat with religious words/lyrics. Im not old yet im young and 33 years old. So im not old fashion stlye of music. im just saying why they alow these rock christian bands to be played in SDA stations. 😭 Im not against them, but the music its not Holy to hear
I agree 100%, I much prefer these older styles. To me, they seem more sincere and sacred. When I listen to the newer styles, it just doesn't put me in the same mood. Linkin Park style with Christian lyrics just doesn't do it for me. I'm glad to have kept many HS records and cassettes from the 70's to relax and reflect to, as they bring many wonderful memories of my childhood. RIP Max, I'm glad to have the opportunity to attend your concerts.
