The question is whether the universities are considered public or private property. If it's private property, I believe the university would need to ask police for assistance. Public property is another matter..

In these clips, yes. And Free Palestine is a fine chant for protesting. The problem arises from some of the other chants. The second they start chanting something that can be interpreted as threatening to Jewish students they open themselves up to having the protest shut down. That's the reality. If they can't keep away from chants and slogans that push over into that, like the popular "globalize the intifada" or "from the river to the sea" chants, the university has an obligation to put a stop to the gathering as they're sliding into hateful rhetoric.
Law makers need to re-examine existing laws.
