I think it could be interesting to have the nextbots just randomly stop, turn and move. Slowly. Make you feel safe, like it’s running or trying to find another way to get you. The moment you stop, boom, it Moon-walks it way back to you and you’re gone.

Try smiler. He will stare at you from a distance, and chase you when you get too close. so sometimes he can wait for you behind a corner to kill you easily. Now hes actually interesting cause theres two ways you can avoid him. 1 is to run far away from him, he'll eventually stop chasing you. 2 is to shoot/damage him, after taking 50 damage (by default, you can change it), he will disappear somewhere else. He follows players around stalking them, so it's best to get rid of him (temporarily) before he gets too close. Hes even cool for multiplayer survival, cause if he attacks a squad of players, even if you don't damage him, he will kill 1 to 3 players and then dissapear, he has a built in ai that likes killing you 1 by 1, so hes a really cool nextbot. Me and my friends usually play with him on enclosed maps like houses and buildings, where he is really dangerous, cause the space is very limited. We once made it harder by spawning about 5 smilers, which makes them appear more often. The more you spawn, the more difficult it is. I totally reccommend trying Smiler out, if you want a true eerie and terrifying horror experience. Hes pretty fun in the backrooms too.
The thing with Seek in DOORS was that he moves at the exact same speed as the player, counting on them to get tripped up by the obstacles and shit in their path to escape. The Nextbot is cool, but by making him faster, it sort of takes away the feel Seek had originally, meaning now he knows he's faster, he knows he's better, and there's nothing you can really do to avoid him.
That’s true for most nextbots
The problem is that in gmod the movement isn’t as constant as roblox so it would be difficult to make an exact replica
@@zepos maybe a multiplier that changes seek speed acording to the player's movement speed? and when the player is still the multiplier goes to x1 only

Hi Rogurt! I noticed that during these videos you like to turn around but lose your momentum in the process. Is there a mod that you can get that gives you a rear-view camera in one of the corners of the screen? I think it would be awesome to see the nextbots coming at you while not having to worry about turning around! Love the videos regardless! They feel so nostalgic but refreshing!

Hey Rogurt You should realy install the mod that lets you look around while still moving in the original direction you were looking in. It would make your content a lot better
This adds so much to the Rogurt lore.
Tip: against nextbots, find a loop that keeps you ahead of them atleast 10 meters away. Also never look back use ur volume or third person.
