I grew up on my Dad's beef ranch in Argentina, and we never grill over open flame, only over hardwood or fruit wood embers that are gray..low and slow..sill get char and very juicy meat, but we do salt all meat before grilling, and would do steers on the iron cross over the embers, constantly tended..very delicious...full organic grazed cattle..❤
Lavender is so humble and well-behaved. (Our border collies are spoiled by special snacks too). I believe she enjoyed her steak.....Archie will be jealous! 😊
Too rare meat for my.. but truly rare nad honest guy a see.. and the dog! :) thank you for this.. it is peacefull content, just wee all need this kinda times... :)
We almost killed out minschauzer by giving her steak fat. She ended up with pancreatitis and had to be on meds the rest of her life because small dogs can't process meat fat well.😞
Not to get you going, but in my humble opinion, if you're alone out in the woods eating a steak you just cooked over a roaring camp fire using your fingers because your Government issue olive drab plastic spoork isn't cutting the mustard, by all means, enjoy your steak. But on the otherhand, if you're sitting in your kitchen, filming a video less than 10 feet from a whole drawer full of silverware, a fork seems like a great idea to avert controversy. @@shirleyvastine9328
I've liked your videos...but sure wonder...you being a Christian kinda guy ...the statement you made in this video is disturbing...."I'm Not feeding my dog like a savage " I think that is Sooooooo Bad !!!
I think you’re overthinking it. First, I had to go look up the meaning or meanings of the word just to make sure. (violent, wild, frightening) One could very easily say that I was eating like a savage. After all it was red meat and I didn’t even use a fork. As matter of fact I ripped the meat into pieces. What you probably couldn’t see is that I had juices from the meat dripping off of my fingers. That’s pretty savage if you ask me.
That is sweet. For your daughter. Keep being a good father.
Yummy 😋
I love your cabin, and how happy your princess is. You're a good hearted man. Thanks. Blessings to y'all ❤😊❤
Looks tasty and but I would have had a fireplace baked potato as well
That old term; "lucky dog.."
Truly fits!
It really does. She is one lucky dog and she doesn’t even know it.

Lavender is a sweet dog.
Perfectly cooked! Now I have to pull a steak out of the freezer.
just came across your channel. What is the grilling apparatus used? Did you forge it?
Precious Lavender.
Spend the extra 10 seconds to even out your rack so that the steaks don't hang over, ensuring an even cook. Looks great!
Omg awesome video
Just new to your channel from New Brunswick Canada 🇨🇦
Welcome and thank you my friend!
What type of firewood did you burned to cook those steaks?
I believe that was maple
Man you eating that steak made me hungry, looked delicious
Great video! Merry Christmas!
Steak is good, but I have to pair it with at least 2 green veggies.
Well, it's a good thing I just had some rotisserie chicken, Man, I'm glad your channel was on my feed.
Thank you my friend! Hopefully it will be on there often!

Fond memories of eating steaks cooked over an open fire on the farm in rural Ohio.
Yes Sir👍.....the best of time's in rural Ok!!!🇺🇲
Nice beard brother!
Haven't seen you in a while. Merry Christmas!
Thank you and a Merry Christmas to you. I got my Christmas cut right after this video so it’s a bit shorter and cleaner now.
I love my dog but ribeye? I don’t know maybe one bite 😂
For real. He basically split it with her. he’s a lot more generous than I am.
Aw, he gave his daughter the steak he wanted :)
The wheels was turning thinking about eating Emily,s steak! 😆 🤣
100%, you got me
I bet the smell was amazing! Sure looked good.. I like mine rare, a little more cooked than that one. ❤
Please rethink the comb over
BRAVOOO,,,HELLOO FROM SRBIJA
Hello, hello, and welcome to my channel
Bet that meat tastes good. Heck man you could cook a whole quarter in that fireplace...
I probably could,🤔 maybe in another video
Doggone Jerry…..you’re making me hungry for a grilled ribeye! Save some for Archie!
I'm that way with bacon. All of it never makes it to the plate from the pan.
Sizzle sells
I like the steak a bit more cooked lol
I like a fried egg on my ribeye.
That’s exactly how my daughter eats hers.
We almost killed out minschauzer by giving her steak fat. She ended up with pancreatitis and had to be on meds the rest of her life because small dogs can't process meat fat well.😞
Alvins? Did they respect ruby and alvin?
But did you eat the other steak ?? Inquiring minds want to know …
🥩🥩
No, I left it for my daughter to take to work
Thomas?
A fork would have been nice.
😂😂, I thought about that at the end of filming but I was hungry and missed it. 🤷♂️
Finger food tastes best.
