RIP Richard Bateman 2018. He was original bassist for Purgatory which became Iced Earth. Also played in Agent Steel, Nasty Savage, and Lowbrow.

It's really cool to hear the band in it's earliest stage. This is good stuff but they,obviously,went on to morph into something TRULY spectacular on their 2nd demo and 2 subsequent studio releases!

Great demo. Sadly the first song "Nocturnus" was eventually destroyed by Mike in his project After Death. The Entity is very good, with a clear Slayer influence. I am glad Nocturnus AD is impressive. Forever respect to The Key 🎼 💚 🤘

this version of BC/AD is actually from the science of horror demo from '88, the original one didnt have an intro and the production is different
