  • The Kapampangan people are the sixth largest ethnolinguistic group in the Philippines. They are indigenous to the Philippines and occupy the provinces of Pampanga, Bataan and Tarlac, as well as Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Zambales.
    The Kapampangans have played a dynamic role in the shaping of Philippine history. They were the first to defend the Luzon Empire from Spanish domination in 1571, and also featured significantly in World War 2.
    The Center for Kapampangan Studies. located in Holy Angel University aims to preserve this history. and exhibits artifacts of Kapampangan history, culture and archeology, as well as various artworks and prehistoric relics.
    The Center comprises 4 museums, of which the main museum is featured here, plus 2 libraries. It is also responsible for various publications and media productions for the education of the public.
