@errorsans7730 It takes a while to master. I recommend trying to speed up on your Bb scale to get used to the fast movements. You can use a tuner to check if you're playing the right notes. This helps give you the feel of the sounds and movements. Hope this helps!
Well, this low-brass-ass just marched in the Twinkle light parade, here at ABQ, NM! I was in the marching band that opened the parade, played sousaphone for this!

i play trombone and i'm (sometimes lmao) able to hit two notes above the high D he's playing; it doesn't even sound like a trombone anymore at that point
Bro, I’m a former Brass player, and that’s crazy that he can nail those solos like that while switching instruments. The change in embouchure can throw many musicians for a loop. He’s really good.
As a tuba player myself that's so awesome like what the I was so amazed and then switching trombone and I've played trombone as well so like this is so awesome a true goat😲😎
We played y’all at I think TMC or maybe capcity this year(whichever one y’all were at idr which one) and as a low brass member I can confirm we still talk about this solo every now and then
@@nickbrennan7872 it says here you guys got 47th. also we went right after you guys and since i'm on props i got to watch you from the front and 20 yard line. it was cool lol

lol, yellow is the computer program telling you that you probably shouldn't use this note since it's generally too high/low to be played by this instrument. Red is like "No, don't use this note at all, the player won't be able to play it". I'm not even joking, that's actually what it means.
Wow! That trombone sounds jazzy
THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING
Sounds like it could be in a John Coltrane song
You should go listen to the H.l. Bourgeois trombone solo from 2023
juice
It sound jazzy bc he is playing with a jazz Omnicer
My low brass ass pains hearing how high those notes go. As a sousaphone and trombone player, I admire this man, even though I am a professional.
I'm a beginner trombone player, and I admire how fast people are able to change the slide and still do the right note 😂

Exactly. I know how to play tuba and trombone, I started on tbone, and swapped to tuba this school year, but I am not at his level

HOLY SHIT THAT TROMBOBE SOLO WAS AWESOME
Bands in Texas are something else
Wow that sounds awesome 🤌🏼
I don’t know how my band beat them they are so good
Almost 4 corners lick as the accompaniment… love that 2000s cavaliers are back en vogue

Nice playing, as a contra and trombone player, I’m very happy that you did that
So grateful my ears were blessed with this solo at boa finals
Got to meet him yesterday at BOA San Antonio! He’s an absolute legend!
i saw him at jboa in indianapolis this past march and it was insane
YEAH TROMBONE
I play tuba and I don't know how to this man can go that high on the staff, but I respect him for it
He's switching over to his Trombone embouchure to hit the really really high tuba notes. Wanna expand your tuba high range? Pick up Trombone/Euphonium
That was really cool!!!
Ph my God. Yes. I would love to have him in the band that I am in. He can jazz that trombone, and sole that tuba.
He did in fact play trombone for our jazz band(did because ripple was his last show)
Oh i remembered watching this
Bro is literally the definition of "I can only carry so hard"
Definitely the most famous clip of BOA this year
As a Tuba player for HBCU JSU i love that
I don't think a lot of people realize how hard it is switching from one instrument to another like that, and I'm amazed he can do perfectly
Buh duh dudum bububuh buh buh badah oh wow!!!
I love that growl there. This is amazing
Rock it out my man!!!
I love how Musescore says that’s an impossible note and he plays it anyways

Hey! You didn’t transcribe jacks multiphonics lol
what are they feeding these kids in Texas lmao
Mainly really bad tasting sandwiches(this/my band also happens to be very poor)
GYATT DAMN! As a trumpet player I can say that I can play higher tho
What piece is this based on? Played it before sounds so familiar
Pretty sure it was Niagara Falls. Could be wrong tho, I know Niagara Falls was one of the pieces
I hear cavaliers 2000 somewhere in there
What does the yellow and red mean
lol, yellow is the computer program telling you that you probably shouldn't use this note since it's generally too high/low to be played by this instrument. Red is like "No, don't use this note at all, the player won't be able to play it". I'm not even joking, that's actually what it means.
Why were those notes on the tuba above the staff yellow? Silly musecore, those are totally attainable
Since when is the low D on a sousaphone? Can't get below F# with a lot of luck. And 3 octaves D-D-D-D ? My best is B-B-B :(
