  • Days after returning from World Cup Finals at Maryland International Raceway, Ry headed to David Farlow's shop to see what remained of The Yellow Car before it heads off to Tin Soldier Racecars for a full revamp. David takes us through the car's backstory and the days leading up to the catastrophe. We are thankful to be able to still speak with David and here him testify to the benefits of safety equipment.

Congrats on surviving this one and transparently breaking everything down (ay breaking.. no pun intended). Paying forward is part of why racing community is so badass. So I get hung throttles.. but hard to wrap my addled mind around *all that* damage and STILL accelerating. A stand alone video of how that motor reacted to keep revving after first impact and damage would be goshdang fascinating. Best to you and yellow going forward, looking forward to y'alls comeback.

I would switch out the Kirky seat and go to a Racetech seat. Something like a RT4119 or for a little more money a RT4129. Yes the Racetech seats are kind of on the expensive side but, when you look at possibly putting a price on your life I think it's well worth it.
