    Start of F.A. (Football Association) Cup 6th round match between Nottinghamshire County and York City. GV. Notts. County (striped shirts) kick off, and right away work the ball into the York goal area. SV. York defence marking well, prevents the County forwards getting a clear line on goal. SV. Crowd. SV. Tommy Forgan makes a hurried dive, as a soft shot is obscured by defenders, he picks up and clears up field. SV. Arthur Bottom clearly in an off side position runs forward to receive a pass and nets. Goal disallowed. SCU. Crowd cheering. SV. York again attacking. Bradley leaps high to punch away. SV. Bill Fenton tries hard for York, but the Notts. defence plays calmly and they clear. SCU. Crowd. SV. Notts. attack, George Howe the York left back narrowly misses heading into his own goal. CU. Man in crowd. GV. York attacking. CU. Man in crowd. SV. Norman Wilkinson centres, Bradley punches it away. GV. Crowd. Half-time, no score. SV. Bradley punching clear as York attack, ball out to Sidney Storey who kicks it back into the goal and Bradley again leaps to save. A York player collides with him and tempers get a little frayed. Referee comes up to smooth things over. SV. Crowd. SV. The ball passing backwards and forwards across the Notts. goal mouth. SV. Crowd. SV. Bradley leaps out of goal to cut off a centre, and clears up field. SV. Forgan watching as Leverton gets possession in an offside position. He shoots, hits Forgan, but kicks rebound into net. Goal disallowed. SV. Crowd. SV. Forgan dives at the feet of a Notts. forward Wylie and then clears up field. GV. York attacking. Loose free kick incident. SV. Crowd. LV. Bill Hughes taking the free kick. Storey passes to Bottom who crashes it home. STV. Crowd cheering. GV. Crowd swarming onto field to mob players. Final score Notts. County 0, York City 1.
