  • ROOTED IN FAITH: EMBRACING PURPOSE IN CHURCH AND CHRIST'S SERVICE | VEN. DR. DAVID A. A. JAYEOLA | CHRIST THE LIGHT ANG CHURCH, CALGARY
"Rooted in Faith: Embracing Purpose in Church and Christ's Service" is a teaching that urges Christians to reflect on their motives for being in the Church and serving Christ. Through self-examination, the teaching aims to help individuals discover the significance and motivations behind their faith and service. The teaching draws inspiration from Luke 19:11-27, where Jesus tells the story of a nobleman distributing equal amounts of money to his servants. The servants' attitude toward the nobleman symbolizes the resistance of people who do not accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. The teaching calls for Christians to live for Jesus, follow His teachings wholeheartedly, and resist the temptation to seek personal gain.

May God help us to be rooted in faith so that nothing will take us out of the will of God. The deeper we are in Christ the better we can stand in faith even when trouble comes. The breath, depth, and width of our being in Christ are determined by who, what, and how we are in Him.
