    It's 2:30 in the morning, this piece started playing inside my head and I had no idea what it was. I tried singing it to google, playing it by ear to google several times and it didn't work. Then I tried to search for the sheet music in my sheet book, and fortunately it WAS there, but the name wasn't. I tried using google lens on the sheet music to no avail. Then I googled how to find a piece through the sheet music and I found Musipedia. I tried the grid method there but it didn't work. Then I tried the keyboard search and I FINALLY FOUND IT! I can't believe I spent so much time just trying to find this. Anyway, love the way you play :)

      @Max Splain He is actually right, as it happens I am a musician and I have performed this piece. Left hand has a melody, this artist fails to bring it out. It is a two voice invention, the whole point is to have two voices.

    • @tomarmstrong1281
      @tomarmstrong1281 2 года назад +2

      I find that the in many of Bachs keyboard pieces there is very often an appropriate finger over or near the next note to be played. Not always of course, but noticeably more frequent than is the case with any other composer that I have encountered. Also, loved the subtle dynamics of Paul’s playing. In my opinion those who advocate a strict tempo for Bach devalue Bach's musical genius.

      Esta pieza se estudia de niño, con 10 o 12 años. Bach, sin embargo es difícil incluso n piezas así, xq no estamos acostumbrados a tocar con melodías n igualdad musical n ambas manos (lo q es l contrapunto). Un niño puede tocar l Preludio n° 1 dl "Clave bien Temperado" sin dificultad xq es sencilla, pero lo va a pasar realmente mal con la fuga q viene después d ese preludio . No es lo mismo tocar texturas d melodía acompañada q contrapunto. Yo tocaba piezas d el "Clave" n 7° d piano, xq las hay d todos los niveles d dificultad. Y las "Invenciones" no son tan fáciles como se piensa, aunq más asequibles q el Clave, la verdad...
