I wish Quan Chi was still this badass/slick in MKX, instead of being just a Shinnok simp. This was actually true, Shinnok never had the real amulet in MK4 which is why he was easily defeated by Liu Kang. Quan Chi just never had godlike powers from it, but he did use it to resurrect the Dragon King’s army in Deadly Alliance. He schemed Shinnok’s demise in MK4 the same way he did Shao Kahn’s in MK9. Back then this made him a super cool sorcerer in the lore compared to Shang Tsung. His boss fight in Mythologies and his MK4 move set were also top tier.
@@justthundaidk368 Yea I focused more on MKX since it was the retelling of MK4; bringing MK4/MKM era characters into MK11 wouldn't do proper justice to their lore, as we saw with Noob Saibot and Fujin. Characters like Sareena needed to be in MKX even if MK11 graphics/gameplay are better.
