I was friends with a girl from Korea as part of a foreign exchange program a ( few others aside from her ). So I knew and even heard some Kpop I only heard one of their songs which made them happy.
A lot of these made me feel old as hell. Most of the controversial stuff I was a teenager for so I remember most of. @@firepuppies4086I mean, I can understand that she would be upset at them showing her dog doing that stuff, but like, the animal wouldn't even understand what's going on. It's a pet, it's not gonna get offended. Personally, I found it funny because of the sheer absurdity, but it's really not that big a deal, specially compared to other South Park episodes.
@@Itariatan it's kind of a trope of storytelling. You don't hit the dog unless they are near human level intellect and are actively antagonists, or you are more evil. Gotta punch up or across, but not downwards. So I can understand why the thought of her dog dying is upsetting more than being directly attacked, it's cheap.
@@firepuppies4086 Not really. Animals are hurt all the time, either for sympathy or shock value. But again, I understand why she'd be upset, it's just that she's looking at it wrong. They weren't trying to say that her dog is actually suicidal, just show how absolutely ridiculous it would be for a dog to do that to itself.
@@Itariatan Uh no, They were literally saying that she is so horrible to be around that her dog would kill itself,.. Just like every other pet she has owned. That was literally the joke, The punchline being the book of photos of her dead dogs and then later the call back joke is that she will take a photo of Butters before he does it as well.
It's a very funny but extremely brutal joke. Why on earth are you trying to change the narrative? lol And how did you completely miss the joke?
The fact all of the Jersey Shore cast loved the episode shows they have a good sense of humor
Making movies making songs and fighting round the world, I would love Russel Crowe to actually make this show.
cesar milan loving his south park appearance was something i find so incredibly wholesome
Snooki wants smoosh smoosh! 🐹
Fun fact. Dog the bounty hunter is actually from Denver.
Hooray, woke up and a new south park analysis from kitty monk, today's gonna be great
I remember watching the movie with my dad one night. The next morning, we turned on tv and it was Brian Boitano
You see you call him Chris Hansen.
But I call him Chris Handsome.
I liked him and I wanted him on South Park. He chose the easy way.
The choice was his 🤷🏽♀️
The boondocks vs South Park.
Who had the funnier portrayal of Chris Hansen and Tyler perry?
You know what? Carlos may be a terrible comedian, but at least he can laugh at himself.
True that. LOL. If the South Park team didn't sing, "What would Brian Boitano do?" in their movie, I would not know who the hell he is. I can only assume that Trey and Matt were coming up with ideas for songs to put in the movie (Let's face it. The South Park movie is a musical. Their are a TON of songs and singing in it.) and someone put figure skating on the TV and once they heard Brian's name, they just had to use it.
Tugger! better be careful to not make Russell Crowe angry.
I hate Carlos Mancia. The guy smashed not one, but two Nintendo 64's with a baseball bat on his show after saying "if you sent this to a third world country they would send it back".
Honestly, that's a better reason to hate him than claiming he _stole_ rather obvious topical jokes. Especially when you're Ari Shaffer and you stole the joke from D.L. Hughley!
James Cameron uses the 'James Cameron' song from the James Cameron episode on James Cameron's phone as a ring tone...because James Cameron's phone IS James Cameron's...
It's ridiculous how Jersey Shore thought South Park was being respectful to them. Clearly they don't understand when when they are being made fun of and not in a good weigh
South Park was laughing at them, not with them
LMBO 😂
You have the think thou, if they would’ve flipped out, that’s exactly what South Park wanted and they didn’t get it but I don’t know maybe the jersey shore cast are that stupid
It's almost admirable and respected, I give them props for not being upset
GREAT KITTY MONK SOUTHPARK TOP TEN POPULAR ACTRESS AND ACTORS PLUS Artist
I'm from NJ and moved to Poughkeepsie NY, Skookie is still doing meet and greets at the local college football games, giving out her bobble head. Poughkeepsie is where she came from. It's about a 2.5-hour drive to the NJ Shore area.
This was awesome to watch all the way through. I was already aware of some of these celebrities who loved how they appeared on South Park partially thanks to watch mojo, not to mention I have seen the reaction video by Cesar millan several times, but I wasn't aware of all of these. If it is true that that episode of South Park influenced Steven Spielberg to not remaster his old films, that's actually really cool. He saw what they were doing with the episode and learned from it and got the message and clearly appreciated it
I love how Bill Donahue responded to it. XD
Eh, I wish they were harsher with Cesar Milan. Bro went out of his way to hide the fact his self trained dog killed a puppy at his dog daycare.
The best part about the Bill Donahue episode in 2023 is how we are now seeing actual churches saying Jesus was wrong when talking about the sermon on the mount. It's like that episode is coming full circle and it's awesome!
Danica Patrick’s biggest issue as a NASCAR driver is that she didn’t think she needed to take the time to learn how to drive a stock car. She was an excellent Indycar driver but a bad stock car driver.
Edit: changed formula one to indycar
Danica Patrick never raced in Formula 1.... she raced in IndyCar which are 2 very different categories.
@@maggou90
Aaaah okay, my friend is into racing so I must I’ve confused the two😅😂
@@MCKevin289 To anyone not really into it, the cars will look very much the same, though. No shame in that. 😄
Danica Patrick!! My favorite sonic character
I assumed she had the same problem as every other NASCAR driver at some point in their career,.. They didn't drive fast enough before they turned to the left.
That is the problem... Once you become a successful NASCAR driver you earn a lot of money, You're still stupid enough for NASCAR but you're no longer poor enough.
That's what makes the joke work, there is no West Jersey yet, Colorado is too the west....well explaining a joke is what REALLY makes a joke funnny.🙃
Ive been watching your videos for the last couple of days after finding your channel and I just realized you sound like a producer I know of.
wow I'm from Jersey too I was raised in Woodbridge & did high school in Newark
Ninja skills?!!
That weapon Jesus uses to kill Bill is The Glaive from the movie Krull. Any die hard sci fi fan will recognize that. It's not a shuriken.
I’m 33 and you calling Carlos Mencia an “obscure comedian” blows my mind because when I was a teenager, he was the biggest comedian in the world, he had his own show that was extremely popular, and kids were even imitating him. I never thought he was funny but he was HUGE in the mid 2000s.
But him being considered “obscure” nowadays is also hard to argue against?
Like seriously
I mean, I'm 22 and I've never heard of him, even though someone else said he was like an icon for our generation
When you say "biggest comedian in the world" I'm guessing you're from the US?
@@more-reasons6655
same thing
Thumbs up for that Nostalgia Critic refference.
At most of these celebrities didnt mind as long as some of there either major fans of this show or Ironically only cared for there paychecks.
Hey kitty I just wanted to say that I love your musical theatre references. I’m finally at a point in my life where I can go out to theaters, and every time I watch your videos I look forward to picking up up on them !
You know, I wonder if Sheila grew out of her old Jersey speech which is why she says New York the way she does. Seeing as she seems to have been in South Park for a long time. Maybe as it was kinda hinted, the longer the Jersey people stayed there the more she "regressed" into going back into her Jersey ways. Her speech could have been one of the few things that would have probably changed last, similar to Kyle with his own transformation. But that's just my speculation lol.
Snooki was pretty spot on ngl
I'm glad the algorythm blessed me with this well made and entertaining video :D
As a kid my parents brought me to a Cesar Milan live show shortly after his South Park episode and literally opened his show with those clips lol
a semester of berklee isnt even worth mentioning next to the musical he wrote that won NINE TONYS
Personally as a trans man. In high school the boys bathroom is disgusting especially after lunch because food is left and from what I assume the girls bathroom is much cleaner however it’s different in public. in public the boys bathroom is clean and I make sure I clean up after myself as well and it’s just bro code bathroom none spoken rules to keep it clean for the next person
23:32 I dunno why but every time you say Hansen, I get tempted to correct you by saying it's Chris Handsome
Okay. Truly a cute cat. Your singing reminds me of Tulip. Miss that show.
33:38 Honestly modern Disney insulting their fans/audience wouldn’t be a surprising thing nowadays.
They already do it plenty passive aggressively. Emphasis on aggressively.
@@rayvenkman2087 yup, but I meant overtly.
Right
@@rayvenkman2087Yep
I’d bet the higher-ups at Disney would be pretty mad at South Park for ruthlessly mocking their company and portraying the beloved company mascot as an evil company president and they would definitely hate how South Park portrayed their company!
It's weird that they portray Spielberg as the maniac who want to remake and upgrade old movie for money.
And Lucas as the victim of it who like the original and think this is a Bad idea.
Because thats kind of totally the opposite in real life.
Remember what he did with star Wars, the original version he totally deleted from the market.
The whole prelogy.
One of the first case of super marketing of mediocre quality around movie to sell toys.
Jesus was not throwing a ninja star. This was was one of the coolest weapons short of the light saber. 1983, KRULL was the movie and this 5 bladed flying switchblade the hero used was a GLADE. It would make a mess of the bad guys and always return to the thrower! This fantastic fantasy film starred the beautiful Lysette Anthony, Ken Marshall, Liam Neesom, and a young Robbie Coltrane. One of my lifetime, favorite, fun movies. Sorry to nerd out! Love your videos.
To be fair on Russel Crow, the guy is a prankster. Pretty sure he'd find the episode funny.
The New Jersey episode was the first episode i ever watched of south park. One of my favorites
Those portrayals
As a fellow Newark resident, I'd never felt more seen than the Jersey segment.
Honestly.. as some who been parodied alot. Cause of my outgoing personality. Im honestly more worried of people who paint me as a perfect monument to perfection. My teenager cousin biult a DnD villain inspired of me. And used him against his friend's party. And the villain was very durpy and full of hilarious flaws. Which of course when he told me this i exploded out with laughter and it was contagious and made everyone in the room explode in laughter. My point is im more uncomfortable or suspicious of someone overly kissing my butt and making me a monument of perfection.
I wish I could be featured on South Park, but I’m not famous enough. Apparently being on the news as a result taking all of those hostages, or being on an episode of “COPS”, doesn’t cut it.
I’d recommend committing NFT scams but Logan Paul, Jake Tran and them already beat you to the punch.
@@rayvenkman2087 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
another great video! thank you!
First time I caught a premier episode
Let's not forget that Brian Boitano was was one of the first, if not the first celebrity to be featured in South Park, in the original The Spirit of Christmas
I'm from South Jersey and Jersey Shore started getting big when I was in high-school. I hated that show, but it's good they can laugh at themselves. I think there's a Jersey Shore spinoff thing on MTV right now.
Jonas Brothers are from NJ too!
As someone who's part Italian I too know how load we can be lol. I like how getting made fun of on south park is a more modern version of Weird al Parading one of your songs. As for Jonas brothers I kinda met them once. They didn't really talk to anyone not that they were rude. Just in a rush and went into a pharmacy I worked at on their way to perform a mile away. They brought a Kpop group with them called the Wonder Girls, who were unknown in the US so they stopped to us to and few other random people to take a picture with them.
The Carlos Mencia one was the funniest, dude broke out onto prime time from standup, and within two years he lost everything. All because he couldn’t come up with his own jokes that weren’t racist.
7:12 Why wouldn't you want the North American Marlon Brando Look-Alikes to try to fix Cartman??
Brian Boitano got a rare treatment. Instead of eviscerating a highly known public figure, they uplifted a more forgotten one.
So many celebrities would voice their own characters if given the option.
I love Carlin talking bout jersey more than south park
How did paris hilton love the way south park portrayed her LOOK AT HER 💀
she never watched it but she said something like “oh theyre copying me , well copying is the highest form of flattery ;)” or something along the lines
44:07 yeah, but it’s not like they went and made changes all over the episodes like the Special Editions. They just made them HD, 16:9. The most significant change is an aspect ratio.
great video again -many thanks
I shouldn’t have laughed at Russell Crowe beating up an old man with cancer just to “beat cancer”
Ngl Cesar Milan should have been number one, but I'm glad you mentioned him
OL TUGGER!
I'm surprised you didn't put George Clooney
I knew Carlos Mencia more than most of the list. That shows how little I care about celebrities.
