Hello my loves :) Today I wanted to film something fun! I little test to try out some new CF Drugstore products! I wanted to create a simple look perfect for back to school! I know it can be very tempting to splurge on high end products.. but sometimes the drugstore products are just as good!! This video really proves it :) I loved filming this today for you guys! It was fun to see that the drug store brands held up just as good (if not slightly better!) during my entire day. It's still on my face from 9 o'clock this morning and it's going strong! Woo! As I mention in this video - if you want it too look fresh all day make sure bring either blotting paper or mattefying powder with you! Try eliminating dairy and added oil from your diet. I struggled with acne for years until ditching dairy and i almost never ever get any pimples anymore! Best beauty hack I ever discovered 🙂

I also noticed that I have increased stress and intense anxiety that only surfaced about 4 years ago as well as some GI problems, excess hair fallout, and other symptoms. Do you think you can share the name of the doctor who's treating you? I live in North Jersey but I'd travel down if it means a chance at getting some answers. Sending love and prayers your way! ❤️

I'm so sorry to hear about your eczema. With my first pregnancy I had eczema (never had it before only while I was pregnant) and it was sooooo bad and I had in my lady area too and it was sooo awful so I can definitely relate to that. My son that I was pregnant with has eczema and had it severely bad as a baby he's now almost 10 and it's so much better little flare ups here and there but mainly when the weather changes. Sorry to rant but just wanted to say sorry to hear that and I can relate to you with that as well as my baby boy

You should try African black soap for your ezcema, it works really well
Also try pure Shea butter as well
I use African black soap at the end of the day to wash of my makeup but I don't think it will help her cause its a deep cleanse and drys your skin you definitely have to moisturize after using it

Shea butter is everything for my skin lol keeps me glowing and moisturized all day
i have eczema on my face the black African soap made it really dry and made it feel like it was brunt and I made sure to moisturized

How can people be upset with Carli? Sometimes I really don't understand. I mean, we all have our problems, we all know the struggles of life. She's not an alien, or a robot, she's a person. She has feelings. Her life is not only based on RUclips. So why are you saying "Oh you're not the same person" or "You aren't posting videos, you don't care about us". C'mon. If you really love Carli and if you really support her, you would understand her. I personally truly love her. So every time she post a video, I'm the happiest person in the world. It is really crazy how much I love Carli even though I don't know her and probably never meet her. But I just want to say that this girl has such an amazing energy, so delicate, such a pure and kind heart, she is so real which is unusual for youtube or any kind of other social media because everyone is trying to be someone they are not or trying to act as someone else. So Thank you Carli for beeing so true to yourself and keeping it real because there isn't a better example for a person's behaviour. Any of you know if Revlon is cruelty free as well? I checked their website and it says that they do not test on animals, but I don't know if I should believe that 100%
From what i know they do 3rd party testing in China (to not do the dirty work themselves and be able to sell there) so are not cruelty free but they have been saying for a couple of years now that they will be put an end to that but never actually do it. Maybe they finally did =D lol or could just be saying they are cruelty free because they don't do the testing themselves still.

+Lina Tenyte yes i know but even so, the cats can cause it to be more severe than normal. i also have eczema and it comes and goes indeed, but it is worse when i have been around cats. she has mentioned before that she had allergies for cats if im correct.

I completely understand how you feel. I don't have leaky gut syndrome, but I had an ultrasound and I do have a leaking liver. I also had a doctor appointment yesterday and was diagnosed with eczema on the backs of my my knees and other areas. I also have very, very dry skin that itches constantly. My doctor recommended Eucerin just for the itch. Also, the in-shower moisturizer from Aveeno. Thats the cream you put on in the shower while you are still wet. You are a beautiful woman and you always set a good example. I'll say a prayer for you that you get back to normal soon.

Thanks so much for your candor, telling about the personal side of things as I know how hard that is! I have been vegan for a year now and it really has paid off, I am pretty much back to normal--I WAS SO SICK!!! You should do a haul of the brand hard candy (A drugstore brand ) ive found a few good things from them, they are cruelty free, i get it at walmart but you can prob get it online, cause at walmart they only have a small set up (At mine anyway)

I can 100% understand what you're going through cause I also have eczema but only in the winter and I had gastritis this summer and my gall bladder was jacked up too. It was a pain doing all the procedures to figure out what was wrong. So I can totally relate! Get better and take your time with it! Can that gut leakage be related to gluten intolerance? I know that being sensitive to gluten can cause skin problems like psoriasis and eczema.
I have a feeling its the gluten as well.
+belle vcam a lot of people aren't gluten intolerant but can be allergic to the chemicals that are in our bread pasta etc to make it last longer making your own or buying fresh helps. I speak from my own experiences with eczema and stomach issues
Histamine intolerance can also cause skin problems!
not always!! i am coeliac and once you are seriously sensitive to gluten...the whole body is sick: anemia...losing hair...losing muscles...can't even do exercices...depression...your heart is racing...you cant even think properly or sleep peacefully...you feel like your brain is sick sometimes even schizophrenia.....i know that cause i've been through this i was born with this illness.

I did not expect this video to turn into a discussion about eczema but I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. I suffer from bad eczema that flares up on all parts of my body (even my face which really really sucks). I was so stressed not only because of outside forces but having eczema really adds to the stress which in turn flares up the eczema more! Sometimes having eczema you feel alone, like no one understands why you continue to scratch (since it tends to go away when you stop scratching). Thank you for sharing about eczema and the struggle, you are such a beautiful person and sometimes people forget that no one is perfect. If you could share more on eczema and what you are doing to care for it I would really really appreciate it!
It really sounds like since you began your vegan diet that your eczema escalated which makes sense if your stomach is leaking. Due to a lack of protein in your vegan diet, it would be getting worse. You can never consume much protein from tablets than what you would chicken. You can always start taking protein shakes? I take a vegan protein shake by Victory Labs, it's hydrolysed. Or you may just need to at least chicken or tuna to get your protein and nutrients back up. That's what I do, only eat organic chicken but the rest of my diet stays vegan. I had to do for health issues as I'm already anaemic. Hope you get better! X
Doesn't matter if the chicken is organic it still had to be killed so you can eat it...That's totally against the whole ethos behind veganism. There are so many other places to get protein: fruits, vegetables, beans, lentils, tofu, tempeh, nuts, seeds, meat alternatives 😊
yes but everyone's body is different. proteins and enzymes in meat are completely different than protein in anything else and in some cases it's needed. please don't preach and try to make people feel guilty. It's not for everyone, and it's especially not for people who's bodies have spiraled since moving to that lifestyle.
dont start with that, there's more protein in beans and greens than in meat per serve. youve been brainwashed by the meat industry friend.
+Yasmin Jade actually I said there are different proteins, not more or less. Meat protein has a completely different amino acid profile which makes it easier to absorb in the digestive tract. So unless medical books and research are illegitimate, maybe you should just learn to read, friend.
+Courtney Maj yup! My cousin has muscular dystrophy and was vegan. The Drs advised her to start eating some sort of animals protein. She did not. The disease progressed rapidly and now she is almost bent over and a step shy of being wheelchair confined. She had no choice to incorporate fish and chicken into her diet. Had she done it years ago she would not be as bad as she is now. Sometimes you have no choice unfortunately.

Same :( I have it on my scalp and it creates horrible dandruff! I look like. A freak scratching my head as if there's lice in it. Have you found anything that helps the tiniest bit? The only thing that works for me is Dovobet Gel which my doctor prescribed. It only treats it:( haven't found anything that makes it go away.

Rehab El Did you tar shampoo? TGel is great. It smells bad but its effective. I shampoo with my regular one first then I put the Tgel.
Unfortunately Psoriasis is uncurable. You treat it to give you a break but.... try sea salt also its soothes the itchiness. For some people it goes away the same it appeared but for some of its a struggle😢

Before going vegan i had to use these creams to make my eczema go away but almost a year now and my eczema has subsided. It comes and goes in its own.
I noticed that when my diet is "cleaner" meaning no processed foods, or gluten and only wholefoods my eczema goes away. Its just so hard for me to give up breads and vegan pastries😁
Same for me. Clean eating and vegan eating saved me. I've had eczema since I was born and I'm in my 40's now. I had to stop doing hair in the salon because it was so bad. I had it everywhere, and I do mean everywhere! (I even have a rare skin cancer now called T-Cell Lymphoma which is one of the Non Hodgkins that they thought was still eczema when I saw some new spots, but I knew it wasn't because it felt different and looked slightly different. Several biopsies confirmed it wasn't eczema.) Anyway, since going vegan my eczema is almost completely gone. Very few flare ups and only when I eat something different than my clean, vegan eating.
Same! When I drink a ton of water and eat healthy, my eczema goes away. Too bad the bipolar weather in Arizona irritates my eczema most of the time which makes it come back.
apparently natural foods like strawberries, tomatoes can cause eczema aswel though

I just decided to go cruelty free with my make up too. And I have found it harder to let go of my maybelline...I have tried several different brands of foundation that is cruelty free and drug store (I'm kind of on a budget, can't afford high end) but none of them work with my skin. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!?
i dont know if you can get this brand in other countries other than australia, they ship internationally i think but chi chi fabulous and flawless foundation is really good.
No 7 is a bit more expensive for drugstore but it's my favorite! I have sensitive skin too. It feels so light and looks so natural! Plus it smells like chocolate ;).

Maybelline is cruelty free tho... I called the company a few weeks ago also to confirm and they said they don't test on animals anymore
they're sold in china which means they're required by law to test on animals there
you can't trust companies, correct they don't test on animals. they do however have to pay a lab to test their products before they enter china so part of your money goes towards that

+chazzaladd I just saw that you are vegan. That's great so is my son. Just make sure you take protein supplements. Rice and beans is good for a source of complete protein but you have to eat the rice and the beans together to form that complete protein. He wasn't listening to me about the protein until he started losing his hair and memory. The vegan and vegetarian lifestyle is great I wish I had the will power and ability but I have MS (I also love cheese) and my body needs all the protein it can get. Not getting enough can be very dangerous and it's not from a leaky gut. Get enough protein please. Especially complete proteins. Good luck and Blessed Be. 😊

No one can live a fully vegan lifestyle. All medication is tested on animals. I think that its unfair to ask that of her... she has already made so many positive changes. There are hardly any vegan makeup products and she runs a beauty channel. If she talked about the same few vegan products that no one is familiar with over and over again, she would lose all her subs.

Hey Carli, I definitely understand the eczema struggle. It can seriously bring you down emotionally and it's crazy because no one will really understand unless they suffer from it. I've tried everything in the book and I feel like even dermatologists don't even understand. I would love for you to film your eczema journey because it's so hard to find RUclips videos or people in general who share their journey and struggles. But seriously, it's created so many setbacks with how I apply makeup on my face and what products I use all over my body.
For me,personally, your situation is totally understandable! Don't stress Carli some of us understand, just keep being the bubbly person you are !(:
