  • duuudes, i literally worked my ass off for this video and had to wait ages to get all the clips i needed. I had this idea since the first time i saw Eliott in Skam France and i'm so happy it's finally done. He's my favorite character by far and i probably won't stop editing him in a while.. btw this is one of my favorite songs and i've put literally all my emotions in this video, so i hope you do you like it, even if you're not fan of skam or the remakes.

this made so much more sense, like when i was watching SKAM france the subs told that he said “cuz I don’t need crazy people in my life” and here it said “i don’t need mentally ill people in my life” and like Eliott’s bipolar so that meant that he doesn’t him in his life before even knowing his bipolar, that’s why Eliott walked away. omg

oh, yes, because in French he says the word "taré" which exact translation is "crazy", but in French it has both meanings. We tend to use the word "taré" for "crazy" when we laugh with our friends, but we can also use it when we talk about mentally ill people but it's really pejorative and condescending (so only dumb people say that with that meaning haha). That's why it hurts Eliott so much!

Allison you’re welcome haha! It’s fun to see how a translation can affect the understanding for foreigners haha!

Twenty Yon The word “taré” sounds a lot like the Portuguese “tarado”. The last letters are different but, generally, the ending “-é” in French is “-ado” in Portuguese so I guess these words have the same origin. Funnily enough the word “tarado” means “crazy, someone mentally sick” but it has evolved into meaning “pervert, sex maniac” and it’s original meaning has lost its use. Sorry if you find this boring, I just find it interesting how words change its meaning through time and wanted to share :)

ok but genuine question, I or II because someone said they think he has bipolar II but I would honestly go with bipolar I, I just can't figure out whether he experienced psychosis in any version of SKAM

@@gracelynzo3298 so bipolar 1 is manic episodes last longer and more “severe” than depressives (to be BP1 your manic episodes have to last at least a month) bipolar 2, you have hypomanic episodss and they last for 4 days to a week but the depressive episodes last longer and more “severe” i was misdiagnosed with adhd and not bipolar 2 bc bp2 and adhd are almost linked (common) everyone’s different of course. and they both can cause harm no matter which one
