This was great watch. One thing I would provide as feedback is that you edit video anyway for the items/respec so it would be cool if you explain setup for the fights as well plus when you farm merchants, what are you farming for? Good job and off to Act 2 video...
Wow, I thought I was pro but you firmly knocked me down to enthusiast at best, super awesome run. I am trying to do a solo sorlock build honor run and one of the rules is no respec the entire run. How would you run to lvl 6 then?

From levels 1-5, a full warlock is better. At level 6, I re-spec as a sorcerer first, 4 Sorcerer for Dual wielding feat and 2 warlock for the agonizing blast. Also, in this playthrough, I went 6 Sorcerer, 2 Warlock and 4 Thief for fast hands. Action surge is great, but fast hands work better for sorcerers due to quickened spell.

@mcnabb9634 ugh. I mean, you play whatever you want, but any mmo now a days is gonna be filled with pay to win. Every mechanic is made with the "make it boring to incentivise real money spending" in mind. If BG3 was an MMO it'd cost you 20 dollars to respec your class, or weeks of grinding some dumb pixel to make it for free once. You'd have inventory slots, you can pay $9.99 to increase 5 slots lol. You'd need pets to loot enemies, better pay another $20 to get decent ones. I'm staying far away from it.
You seem to be hexing the main attribute of a lot of enemies, but isn't this mostly pointless since Hex only applies disadvantage on ability checks and does nothing for anything else? As far as I know it shouldn't impact their attack rolls or any interesting aspect of them attacking, no?
This was merely a poor habit I picked up from my most recent Honor mode session. Eventually, I removed this habit as shown in my most recent vids, hehe. With the exception of Hex's 1d6 Necrotic Damage, ability checks are entirely deficient in combat. Here's what Hex does for further details; this was my answer to a few viewers of my last video who had a similar inquiry. Hex affects Ability checks and not saving throws. Hex is a super useful early game as it gives you the capability to OHK enemies early game with the added 1d6 necrotic damage. Hex Strength: lowers ability to shove or resist shove, and as well lowers jump. Hex Dex: Lowers their initiative if applied before combat (useful to surprise the enemy). Hex Int: lowers the chance of a wizard to counterspell you. Hex Charisma, lowers the chance for a sorcerer to counterspell you. Hex constitution, no effect, not good. To sum it up, Hex Dex is great before combat to lower their initiative and Hex Strength will likely be your goto. :)

Even if you're not proficient with the weapon "Phalar Aluve", you can still equip it and use its abilities. Since I'm just using the weapon on Shriek, it won't matter whether you do less damage when hitting a target with it. With this build, Dual Wielding Feat is amazing since it allows me to use Phalar Aluve off-hand and grants me an additional +1 AC when dual wielding. When it comes to armor proficiency, proficiency counts, in particular on spellcasters.
Certain attacks will apply 1d6 necrotic damage on targets with a hex debuff. It's a concentration, so maybe you might've taken damage and lost Hex on one of your encounters?
Of course! Since The Fiend would be more advantageous in the early game, I chose it initially. The Great Old One is, in my opinion, the best option available later in the game when there is a means to guarantee critical hits.
Being invisible is necessary because it produces an "ambushing" effect that gives you an advantage on all of your attack rolls. In addition, you must be within the enemy's "Line of Sight," or LOS, which means that you need to be within the range where they would normally turn hostile; if you're too far away, they will pursue you, which will trigger an encounter normally without surprising them. You need to be within their line of sight and have every member of the party either sneaking or invisible (either works). Applying status effects to enemies-like "hunter's mark", "hex" from warlocks, or even wet from "create water"-or having an invisible summon-as seen in this video-works incredibly well.
I wish RUclips honor mode video creators had never, ever, ever, ever discovered dark urge. Ever ever ever. You can’t get away from it. Every thing about this video makes me want to watch it, but dark urge makes me sick to my stomach.
Indeed! After a few long rests, you can get the Death Stalker Mantle item. Alfira will give you the best in slot armor in act 2 after you save the tieflings at Moonrise Tower, therefore murdering her at camp is the one drawback to playing as Durge. Fortunately, there's a workaround for this. Although I didn't get it on video, I managed to knock her unconscious and then took a long rest after arriving inside Emerald Grove. This allows you to murder another NPC in place of Alfira, so preserving her forever. Act 3 has a boss battle that is much simpler for Durge.
abusing stealing really trivializes the game, like having endless rests and money. need a walkthrough without stealing...your combat skill and knowledge of the game is superior i admit that.

I was so excited when I saw the title of this video. The format looked good, including the gear and timestamps... and then 34 seconds in, it came crashing down. You did it, you just had to fkn do it. Another lemming mindless lack of creativity Dark Urge playthrough. Has every youtube playthrough video creator lost all will to break from the herd of content creators who are incapable of playing the game without playing Dark Urge. It's more than 90% of the honor mode playthroughs, and it is awful. Dark Urge should represent ~10% of playthroughs, not 90%. Warn people by putting DARK URGE in the title next time. Or better yet, show some originality, and DON'T just DON'T succumb to the herd mentality and play dark urge. FFS.
You are unreasonably mad. I'm assuming most solo honor-mode runs pick Dark Urge because the mantle GREATLY increases survivability. And survivability is, I would think, VERY important for a solo honor run. Go be a little bitch somewhere else. Better yet, do your own run without Durge and upload that. Be the content creator you want to see.
I didn’t know you could attack someone and then move without risking an attack of opportunity or am I missing something? Is it how you’re positioned or who the enemy is targeting? Also, how do you have a 100% chance to hit? This game confuses me 🫠

L take, Dark Urge is the superior campaign if you've played the story once as non dark urge.
I didn’t know you could attack someone and then move without risking an attack of opportunity or am I missing something? Is it how you’re positioned or who the enemy is targeting? Also, how do you have a 100% chance to hit? This game confuses me 🫠
Surprised enemies can't take reactions, so no attack of opportunity.
@@jamzbraz I see, thanks
Sorcerer seemed weak to me at first. Once I hit level 8 I realized it’s the strongest magic class. Imo 🫡
