I agree, because it was something theoretically anyone could get so long as they could handle it. Later Naruto was basically, "If you're not a Senju, Uzumaki, or Uchiha, you're worth nothing." I also lowkey kinda hated how Konoha had all the best stuff as far as powers went. Byakugan, Sharingan, Shadow Binding, Mind Transfer, Wood Art, Flying Raijin, it goes on. Like, with how little we really knew about other villages, you'd think Konoha would just steam roll them in a warring situation. The most we really got was the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, and the Cloud being the most prolific users of Storm Art, as well as one of the few fully realized Jinchuuriki.
@@quentinjones6877 Same. I would've made the Yuuki clan (Haku's clan) native to the Mist, and not extinct, therefore making Ice Art their thing. I think that would have been pretty neat to have seen expanded on. This may be controversial, but I also would have had a large chunk of the roaming Uzumaki end up in the Mist, as well. I would've made the Raikage part of what I'd call the "Ikazuchi clan" and made the Lighting Art Chakra Armor their Kekkei Genkai, as well as another clan with a type of Visual Ability comparable to the Big 3. For the Sand, I'd have more puppeteers, and expand on them, maybe having them guide weapons around on the Chakra Threads instead of just puppets. (Imagine being chased down by a guided Shuriken, especially one empowered by Wind Art the way Danzo did it?) I may have also had the Scorch Art be their special Kekkei Genkai (seeing as how Naruto and Sasuke did it as a combo rather than just one of them doing it alone, that wouldn't be a plot hole). As for the Stone, I wouldn't have the ability to fly the Ohnoki does be a Technique, but a Kekkei Genkai unique to the clan he's part of, making Kurotsuchi able to do it, too, and maybe have Explosion Arts (Earth + Lightning) be a Kekkei Genkai specific to either one specific Stone Ninja clan, or shared between two closely related ones. And I'd also have the Wood Art not be exclusive to Hashirama alone, but something other Senju could do, but with him being the most powerful user of it by far. This wouldn't level the playing field totally, but it'd at least make it not a squash match between Konoha and everyone else.
@@Zac_Frost I would give the Senju Clan a plethora of Kekkei Genkai, Hashirama has wood release, Tobirama has ice release, some other members could have storm release and lava release too.
One-Tailed Fox Naruto vs Dark Angel Sasuke (W/ Hand Wings) was really the greatest battle in the OG Naruto imo. We can have different opinions here but i respect that. 👍
Sadly, it wasn't this way until Itachi put a 2nd tsukiyomi on him. He had a healthy rivalry with Naruto before it. Acknowledging him as a rival, training together and even resolving to let himself die over losing Naruto to Haku and Gaara. Even when Itachi came back he was looking for Naruto first. But then the trauma caught up to him. As much as I like Itachi, Kabuto was basically correct in saying he manipulated Sasuke's whole life.
