a tip for removing the head is put the doll in a zip lock bag. then in a basin or mug with boiled water, put the doll head down and wait. voila, squishy soft head hahaha
I bought two of her. One of them I did her hair differently with s bunch of twists,but I also put her on the same body you did . and the second one I took out the buns and I put it in a high ponytail but I also rebodied her on the new Barbie signature looks petite black doll body.
Thanks for this vid, I was hesitant to rebody 180 even though I also got a bunch of yellow top MTM on sale. I think you helped nudge me to just go for it, even though wheelchair skipper is probably a slightly closer match (though a bit darker tone). If you have 3 hours to kill her hair can be restyled with a ton of combing and giving her 30+ twists, she looks great stock of course too.
Glad I could be of help, but I am hopeless at restyling hair, if it’s not a simple three part braid I’m useless I have big clumsy fingers all my detail has to be done with a brush or something like that lol
I save my broken neck pegs and usually cut the ring till its like crescent shaped to fit back in the neck, then just super glue, it hasn't failed me yet.
Mine broke when I removed the head. However, I did remove the peg from the head, and I popped it back into the body, and was able to use it with a different head. Have had no issues with it so far.
